Willow's pov
I never thought I'd say this but Ellie was right. A few people to Dina was and understatement. In under an hour the house was filled with people coming in and out. I sat outside on the edge of the pool my feet dipped inside.
"Still not a party girl I see." Ellie sat down next to me and I sighed. "What do you want?"
I look around at the people. A couple of guys raced in the pool as some girls cheered them on. It was really reminding me of all the frat parties I'd been to. Which weren't really all they were hyped up to be. "Nothing it's just you're just kind of sitting here."
"What's it matter to you?" I roll my eyes at her and she shrugs. "Is the thought of me being nice that impossible to imagine? Maybe I'm worried about you."
I take the red cup in my hands and give her an amused look as I drink from it.
"You? Worried about me? Funny." I follow her line of vision. She was absolutely checking me out. She's done it earlier too when I was smoking with Jesse. "Oh please don't tell me you don't think about us."
I choke on my drink and she chuckles softly leaning towards my ear. "Tell me you don't think about that kiss."
Her voice was sweet, seductive and exactly the type of thing I would've fell for back when I had a stupid crush on her. I imagined she used this exact same tactic on all the girls she wanted. Too can play that game. "And if I do?"
Ellie's pov
My brows furrowed at her answer. Half of me expected a witty response. For her to push me away and storm off. Instead she playfully bit her lip. Batting her eyelashes at me her hand trailing up my arm. "You were my first kiss after all. Who can forget that."
I swallow deeply, my eyes slightly looking down at her body. I know I promised Jesse but she just made it too easy.
Willow's pov
What an idiot. I chuckled at her eagerness remembering the kiss she was talking about. I had always been an easy target for her mess with. For whatever reason she always liked to fuck with me. I was such an idiot I thought her poking fun at me meant she liked me. Then she did it. Stole my first kiss and laughed in my face when I took it seriously. She was honestly the reason I went to a college a few states away. Heartbroken like a sick puppy I sulked in my bed for weeks before deciding to go out of state. I watch her Forrest green eyes trail down to my lips and I smile at her.
"Do you want to kiss me?" I whisper and as she starts to lean in I burst out giggling. "Oh God. You didn't think I was for real did you?"
Ellie pulls away a slight frown on her forehead. "What?" She looks at me confused for a second before quickly regaining her composure.
"Get over yourself. I know you just want some quick fuck. Lucky for you there's plenty of girls here." I stand up looking down at her. My heart loudly pounding inside my chest. Ellie looked up at me a small amused smirk on her lips.
"You're right..." She stood up stuffing her hands in her pocket. "But..." she dragged out the word with a pop of her lips.
"Don't pretend like this didn't turn you on in the slightest." She leans down whispering in my ear and I feel chills run across my body. Fuck her for being right. Trying to not further confirm her statement I shrugged. "If it helps you sleep better at night."
I watch her walk away shaking her head with a smile. I finish the drink in my cup and toss it in trash can. I walk inside the house frustrated and spot Dina who quickly approached me. "Come help me beat your brother at beer pong."
"Oh I'm like horrible at that."
"None sense you can't be worse than me." She pulls me along where a game of beer pong was already set. "Traitor!"
Jesse held his chest as if he'd been shot and I roll my eyes at him. Next to him is Ellie who winked at me causing me to look away. I was hoping to get away from her.
"We're so gonna fuck them." Dina giggled stumbling forward. Something tells me she'd been losing this game the whole night. Sorry Dina you'll be losing again.
"You guys go first." The raven haired girl giggled still tightly holding on to me.
"Suit yourself." Jesse takes the first shot landing it right inside a cup. Dina goes for the cup but I stop her. "A true hero."
"Don't mention it." I smile and bring the cup to my lips. I chug the contents inside of it and take my turn. Unfortunately I miss. Shocker. The game continues with the same results each time. Jesse and Ellie land their shots I land zero. Dina sometimes landed some but not enough to cause us to win. By the end of the first game I was determined to win.
"Again." I challenge and they look at each other before shrugging. We continue like this until we lose our third game in a row. The only thing that caused me to give up was the huge urge to piss that slowly crept up on me. It was expected considering all the cups of beer I consumed. I rushed towards the bathroom as Dina cheered me on for rescuing her from having to drink all the beer by herself.
When I come out the bathroom I bump into a guy causing his drink to spill all over him. "Shit I'm sorry."
"It's okay. So long as I can get you a drink?" He winked and I mentally gag. "In your dreams."
I walk away and hear him mutter something along the lines of "bitch." When I come back downstairs I see everyone was riled up in the backyard where the pool was. I walk towards the crowd curious as to why everyone was outside and I see Jesse and Ellie setting up their equipment. They formed their band around two years ago. I never listened to them or even saw them preform. I was always to busy with college for Jesse to even FaceTime on of their performances and it's not like they uploaded music to any platforms. They band was strictly for fun, they simply loved music.
