Leaving The Mess [Shot - 7.4]

The next day, after having breakfast, Abhimanyu and Akshara left for Birla house to take their things and also clear some issues between them. Abhimanyu was reluctant to go but Akshara made him understand that they had to face them sooner or later even for one last time.

They rang the doorbell and waited for someone to come open the door. They were not at all surprised to see Manjari open the door and take Abhimanyu in her embrace. He just stood still with his hands on his sides. He had enough of her changing moods and now he won't let her hamper his recovery which was all because of his wife.

"Kahan chala gaya tha tu beta? Kitni baar phone kiya tune uthaya bhi nahi."

"Aur kya bolta? Jis samay mujhe zaroorat thi tab toh aap chup khadi rahi ab baad mein phone karne ka kya fayda?"

Sensing that Abhimanyu was about to lose his calm any moment, Akshara squeezed his hand, bringing his attention to her she said, "Abhi please shant ho jao. Hum yahan iss waqt kyon aaye hain uspe focus karte hain. Apne aap ko stress mat do."

"Aray apne ghar koi kisi wajah se aata hai kya? Mere bete ko apni tarah mat banao. Tum kya samjhogi yeh dard." Manjari shed some crocodile tears and hearing her, almost everyone present in the house came downstairs.

Without sparing her a glance Abhimanyu left for his room to pack up his and Akshara's things and leave as soon as possible. Akshara decided that it was high time now and she would speak her mind. It was up to them if they took her advice or not.

Neil tried to go after him as he realized that he had gone over the top but was unable to due to Arohi's hold on his arm. Being the gullible person that he is, Neil started to caress her hair as she told him that she was still disturbed and tired after whatever happened the previous night.

"Abhi…. Yeh aise bina kuch kahe hi upar kyun chala gaya? Tum kya chahti ho Akshara?"

"Aap baat-baat pe mujhe kyon blame kar rahi hain maa? Meri kya galti hai? Kya kiya hai maine? Aapke bete ke sath khadi rahi, use sambhala, support kiya, apne pyaar ke liye apni pehchan tak bhool gayi, kya yeh galti hai meri? Kyon kuch bhi hota hai toh saara blame mere ya mere husband ke upar aa jata hai? Kyon sirf hum dono har baar baat ko sambhalne ki koshish kare? Manjiri cribbed, shocking everyone with her choice of words.

"Manjari, stop it. Yeh kya bole ja rahi ho tum? Aray kabhi toh soch samajh kar bola karo." Harshwardhan spoke and held Akshara by her shoulders as soon as he saw her stumbling.

“Bas kijiye aap Mrs. Birla. Kabhi khud ko dekha hai? Jab sab aap ke hisab se hota hai toh meri wife aapki beti, ghar ki laxmi aur lucky charm ban jati hai lekin jaise hi thodi si bhi inconvenience ho jaye toh wahi lucky charm mere liye bad luck ban jati hai?

Bolna toh nahi chahta tha, socha tha ki bas apna saman pack karke ek light note pe yahan se chala jaunga lekin bhool gaya tha ki yahan toh ek thake hue insaan ko paani tak bina tamashe ke Naseeb nahi hota. Toh aaj saari baat khatam karke hi jaate hain.” Abhimanyu said, exasperated.

"Yeh tu kaisi baatein kar raha hai beta? Kal jo bhi hua uss wajah se tu ghar chhor kar jaa raha hai? Aray na-samajh hai Neil abhi bhi, itna bhi bada nahi hua hai jo usski galti ki tu itni badi saza de hum sabko."

Abhimanyu asked the staff to bring their bags and he walked out of the mental zoo with Akshara, hand in hand. Now no more interference from the toxic people around them, no more dodging evil plans created by their own family; together they will start a new journey, just them in their own little world.
