Hi! I'm Christy! I'm the happiest, silliest, funniest girl in the world! I love sweets and I'm cute as a button to boot! I met Jimmy, first through what I found out later, were his cookies, and then a long process of him knocking on my door and asking me over to have breakfast with him and Kat, my now girlfriend. Jimmy is a like the brother l never had. Naive at times but sweeter than double chocolate muffins. I had a crush on Kat for a few months before I kissed her, and I tried flirting with her, but I think she took it as me being silly. My family is pretty much just me, my sister, Aubrey, and the 'rents. As years went on, I developed an attraction more to females than males. Aubrey helped me build the courage to tell my parents I was a lesbian. They weren't very shocked, though, and told me they would love me either way. I dated a few girls but I tried to focus mostly on my studies until after I graduated and started a career. The day my parents met Kat, they immediately loved her. She was so nice and polite and just clicked with them all. Aubrey, wasn't sure how to take Kat's sarcasm, but Kat grew on her quickly. I didn't really know what I wanted to be when I grew up; so while I decided what I wanted to do, I went to work for my dad as his secretary. That pays my bills, but my real passion is for sweets. I have my own blog: Christy's Sweeties! I have a couple thousand followers currently and growing every day. I like writing about little shops I've been to, and sometimes I get information on other places to try out or recipes to bake. And, since I had my very own chef named Jimmy, I try those out, rate them, and Jimmy even offers some tips to make them better; which I write to for my followers. But enough about me.
Jimmy has this new job with Tina, whom I can't stop hearing about, but I'm really excited to meet her. She sounds like she would totally fit into our little clique we kind of developed from...I don't know how. I've been wanting to meet her to see if she's as good for our Jimmy as he says she is, but he's been against it. He's been worried that either Kat or I would say something embarrassing about him. Like I would try to embarrass someone that does a great job of doing it to themselves? Well, since he invited us tonight, I'm going to take advantage of the situation and get super cutesy for my date with Kat. I left her house a little after Jimmy went to sleep and told her we couldn't see each other until our date tonight. At home, I threw on some jeans and a t-shirt, then was jamming to music as I headed over to the mall. I saw a cute outfit a few days before while I was shopping with Aubrey and wanted to try it on while I waited for my spa appointment. Afterward, Aubrey said she would do my hair for me. I found some parking on the third floor of the structure, took the stairs to the main entrance and proceeded in. Our mall isn't massive by any means, but it is bigger than most others. I walked by the food court where I could smell Cinnabon cooking up fresh cinnamon rolls followed by the tang of oranges from the juice place. I stopped at Grandma's cookie place to grab a cookie as I walked, then stopped off at See's to get a quick sample of chocolate. A couple of whistles here and there from some creepy guys and I was at the store, finally. As I walked in, I noticed some other girl was looking at the same thing I was going to try on. I sauntered over and grabbed it while she was looking at her purse. I went and tried on the top first. It fit snugly and made my boobs look big. Hmmm...I tried on the skirt. It wasn't too short and showed off my legs. But it just wasn't right. Too much black and white. I wanted something with some color in it, preferably pink. I took off the clothes and threw them in the 'do not want' pile and went back out to go hunting for a different outfit.
"Hello, do you need help finding something?"
"Yes, I'm looking for color, what do you guys have?"
"Well there's-" an associate said.
No sooner had he started talking than I saw the girl from earlier walking quickly toward the exit. I wouldn't have thought anything of it but when she hit the door an alarm started going off. At that point, she started to run and slipped as she tried to turn the corner. She landed with a thud and the associate that was helping me ran out and grabbed the girl by the arm. The girl didn't look any older than sixteen in a red hoodie, jeans, and a pair of chucks. She looked a little dirty, but other than that not like a bad person. The guy that was helping me dragged her back inside and pulled the girl over to a seat where he sat her down and proceeded to start calling security. The girl looked completely petrified and started to cry. I'd never been someone that could handle crying, it always made me cry as well. I couldn't help myself, so I went over to try to see what I could do.
