Today is my first day at U Michigan. I arrived on campus and immediately texted in the groupchat with Rutger, Lukey, and Kayleigh since I needed help moving some stuff in and I knew that Luke and Rutger also had to go to Yost arena before I had to head to AL Glick Field House to start my new job.

Val: Hey Rut are you able to come help me move some stuff into my apartment and then to take me to the Yost because I have work there

Rut: Of course Val I'm hopping in the car now and I'll be there in 10 minutes

Val: Thanks Rut

Kay: Omg I'm so excited you're finally here

Val: I know right. I can't wait to see you

Lukey: Wait Fridge can I come with you to pick up Val

Rut: No. I want one on one time with my sister

Val: Rut be nice. Lukey can come with you. We'll just kick him out later when he wants to hang out so it'll be just us two

Lukey: Thanks Val. Wait you'd kick me out I thought you were on my side

Val: Normally I am Lukey, but you're going up against my brother so it's not really a competition

Rut: Luke you better be ready now I'm almost at your place

After waiting for 15 minutes Rut finally arrived and I saw Luke in the car. I instantly knew that Rut was late because Luke wasn't ready to go. Rut came out and gave me a big hug. He then grabbed some of the bags from my hand and helped me to bring my stuff upstairs. I started to unpack everything in my bag including one of Rut's hoodies that I took from him.

We didn't have a lot of time to unpack, but we were able to unpack some stuff. Rut, Luke and I got back in Rut's car with me in shotgun. I played some Taylor Swift and Luke groaned, but Rut just sang along with me. We arrived at the Yost after a couple of minutes. I was nervous but excited to start work. We all walked in together. As we were walking in we passed some of Rut's teammates including Ethan. Rut brought me to the social media managers office where I would be meeting the rest of the team. I knew Rut had to go to practice so before he left I gave him a hug and wished him good luck at practice.

I met with my boss Amy. She was so sweet and also met one of the other social media managers. Her name is Olivia. Amy told me that she knew I used to play lacrosse but Olivia has already been assigned women's lacrosse so I would be doing men's lacrosse, baseball, hockey and football. Olivia would be doing women's lacrosse, softball, volleyball and basketball. Olivia agreed . Our professors know we would be missing class and that we are required to meet with a tutor. This on campus job also fills credits so we aren't falling behind. Even though the sports we are covering are within the same season with each other Amy said as long as we attend some practices and games of each team every week to have some videos and pictures then that is perfect since we don't need to post everyday. It was also easy to split the time between these sports since they had multiple practices a day so for hockey I will be going to their morning practices and for football their afternoon practices.

Amy told Olivia and I that we need to post photos from practices and games, game highlights, funny tiktok videos or question of the days and any other photos or videos we may have. She said for most photos or videos she trusts us and we don't need to check in with her, but if we are unsure if it is okay to post to text or call her to double check. Now that we had our assignments I had to go meet with the hockey coach quickly and then meet with Coach Harbaugh at 2.
