After our date JJ drove me back home. When we arrived I started to open my door, but he leaned over me pulled the door close and then got out to open the door for me. He walked me to the door of my apartment building and then he pulled me in for a hug and kissed the top of my head before saying goodnight. Before he walked to his car and I walked into the building I looked at him and said "J text me when you get home safely."

"Of course I will princess now, why don't you go inside before you get too cold."

After that response I walked inside and I noticed he didn't walk away until he was sure I was inside safely. When I got inside I decided to call Kay and let her know how it went. When she picked up I didn't expect that Rutger was also there.

Kay: omg girl i saw the picture on your insta it was so cute, but seriously how was it

Val: it was so good. He was so cute and such a gentleman. I can't remember the last time i was treated like that by someone

Val: i know you do rut but it's different coming from someone who is showing romantic interest in me

While Kay is saying that I receive a text from JJ and I instantly smile

Kay: i have a feeling i know who has you smiling like that and I think it's a certain QB

I just blushed more as she was saying that. I opened the message from JJ.

JJ: hey princess I made it home safely. I really enjoyed tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come to my game and then we can get dinner together

Val: i'm glad you made it home safely. i also enjoyed tonight J. of course i'd love to come to your game and get dinner together

JJ: perfect. i'll drop off your ticket tomorrow. well i'm heading to bed but i'll talk to you tomorrow

JJ: goodnight princess

Once I finished texting JJ I looked back at the screen and Kay had a wide grin on her face meanwhile Rut looked like he had officially gone into big brother mode. I couldn't help but laugh at both of their faces. After I finished laughing Rut finally spoke

Kay: Okay are you done? Do you want to tell us what that was about

Val: well he asked me to go to his game since Liv will do the football games, but I'm still doing practice. I'm going to do basketball games and she's doing their practices

Kay: omg that's so exciting

Val: yeah i'm nervous, but excited and he said he'd drop off the ticket tomorrow

Kay: okay enough of this gossip i need to meet him. I'm not happy that you're dating another athlete and I need to know what his intentions are

Val: Rut I promise you can meet him once I'm sure things are heading in the direction of us being in a relationship

Kay: although i'm not the biggest fan of this happening i do know he'd be an idiot and his biggest loss if he didn't want to be in a relationship with you

Val: thanks rut, but shouldn't you be heading to bed soon because we have an early morning tomorrow

Kay: yeah we're both heading to bed. Goodnight Val.
