Y-n Pov

I look away from my schedule as Evie obnoxiously sighs.

"Hell, it's barley the first day of class and I'm already tired of it—-" I listen quietly as Evie complains, "And this fucking headache isn't doing it for me." Evie massages her temples in a circular motion.

"Here, pop one of these." Margo playfully winked at Evie as she handed her a bottle filled with ibuprofen. "You're a lifesaver M." Evie cheerfully shook the bottle.

A sinking feeling formed in my chest as I laid eyes on Felix. He smiled as his brown eyes found mine from across the room.

"Morning." He spoke softly

"Morning Lex." In her overly familiar and flirtatious voice, Evie spoke.

Felix focused on the blonde girl in front of him as he took a seat beside me. He had a playful gaze while they shared a teasing smirk.

Wtf.

I calmly gathered my things and stood up to leave.

Felix rushed to follow behind me. I look over my shoulder as I feel his hand cling onto my arm, "Is everything ok?" he questions, worried by my quiet demeanor, "Sure. Everything's ok. Why wouldn't it be?" Felix exhaled with frustration.

"I don't understand were this sudden attitude is coming from, Y-n?" He lowered his head onto his hand. His eyes closed as he pinched his nose bridge.

"Starting the semester hungover. Typical Felix." His irritation pricked within him.

"You are hungover, right? From last night. When all of you went out for drinks." Felix scoffs, "Y-n, you wouldn't of come anyways—— why are you making it such a big deal."

"How would you know that if you didn't even ask??!"

"Because I know you."

Do you, Felix.

"Is that the only reason?" His lips parted, he quietly stared at me as he tried to come up with an answer to my question.

I didn't even know what I wanted to hear from him.

I guess I just wanted to feel like... like I still belonged

"What other reason would there be?" He finally says. I roll my eyes, unsatisfied with his answer. My attention is caught by another pair of blazing eyes. Anger boiled within me as she watched Felix and I tentatively. She smirked as she caught my eyes.

"You and Evie seem awfully close these days." I speak without thinking.

Felix tenses as I mention Evie, "She's going through a hard time with everything that happened with Mason and Oliver. I'm just trying to be helpful."

"And what about me?"

"You're not my girlfriend anymore it's not my responsibility to care for you." His eyes widen in disbelief as he realizes what he's said. I feel my eyes watering as I feel hurt by his harsh words. "So you care for Evie's feelings but not mine. Ok." I can't bare to look at him any longer. As I walk away from him I hear my name repeatedly slip past his mouth.

None of them were ever really my friends to begin with.

So why should I be loyal to them.

The anger within me felt good.

I pant heavily as I make my way down the steep stairs as I rush. I'm out of breath as I make it to the boys' dorms.

The boys lingering in the halls stare at me with wide eyes as I walk past them.
