Y-n Pov"Miss Y-l-n, please let's just be civil about this—-"
"Civil?? You've already turned my dorm upside down looking for that stupid jar of money." I sternly scoff as Dean Rutherford offers me a sympathetic smile.
"I do apologize for that." I roll my eyes at the stressed old man in front of me, "What happened to innocent until proven guilty."
"You are guilty!!" Evie's screeching voice fills the room.
"Miss Windsor, the jar of money clearly wasn't in Miss Y-l-n dorm which does in fact clear her name."
"I saw her! Margo and I saw her fleeing the scene."
"Excuse me?!" The rage inside me builds up as I turn to face the girls that were supposed to be my best friends. Margo's eyes are glued onto the ground beneath her. She doesn't dare look me in the eyes. Evie smirks as she's pleased by Dean Rutherfords reaction.
"Miss Walton, is this true?" Margo tightly clings onto her plaided pattered skirt.
She gulps before answering the Dean, "I couldn't say. We saw... someone."
Dean Rutherford sighs.
"Right, well I guess we'll just have to check last nights camera footage." I watch as he takes out his little notepad from his desk drawer.
"Miss Y-l-n, you said you were at the library finishing some homework when this occurred, correct?"
"That is correct."
"Do you have anyone that can confirm your alibi?"
Oliver.
"No."
Evie flashes me a sinister smile.
"Alright. Until we have gone over the footage. I am asking you ladies to please refrain from causing any more scenes." Dean Rutherford sternly let's out.
We all nod our heads down in agreement.
I wait for Evie and Margo to exit the room before I do.
My stomach plummets to the ground as my shoulder slightly grazes Detective Brookes as she enters the office. I muster up a small smile as she offers me a polite grin.
I stop holding my breath as I exit the deans office.
"Give it a rest Evie!" I watch as Felix tries to grab onto Evies arm. She manages to make her way towards me.
"I don't know where you've hid it but I know you have the jar!"
"And how would you know that?"
"Because I just know!"
"Because you placed it in my dorm."
"Don't you dare accuse me of such a thing!" Felix is quick to step between Evie and I as things start to get heated.
"Enough Evie! Y-n didn't take the money." I widen my eyes surprised by his sudden courage.
"I saw her—-"
"You couldn't have seen her. Y-n and I were together all of last night."
Evie's body shakes with anger. Smoke nearly emits from her ears.
I don't say anything as I'm left confused by Felix's false confession.
"Why?—-"
"She was helping me study for an exam I have coming up. She was just being a good friend." Felix's doe brown eyes find mine. He sends me a wink when Evie isn't looking.
