Y-n PovFeeling nauseous, my hand was quick to cover my mouth.
As the feeling of panic began to creep in, my heart jumped violently against my chest.
"Y-n?"
"Not now, Felix." My words were barely a whisper. I pushed my way through Felix as I walked away from the scene. The cool breeze instantly whips me on the face as I step out of the suffocating building. I gasp as I am able to breathe again.
"Y-n?"
"God! What do you want!?" Felix stood in front of me with his hands shoved in his pocket. He really had the audacity to look sad.
"Evie and I—- We're not dating... officially." I scoff obnoxiously, disgusted by his statement,
"Wow, you guys are real great friends. Do you guys usually sleep with each others friends like this?" Felix is quick to grab my arm before I have a chance to walk away from him.
"Don't play the innocent here, Y-n. You did the same thing with Mason."
"Are you fucking serious Felix? I was drunk! I wasn't conscious of what I was doing." I rip my hand from Felix's grasp as I feel the anger within me building.
"You had gone off with Evie that night. You assured me back at Saltburn that you had just kissed. Is that still true?" I watched the tall boy in front of me become nervous by my question.
"No. We did more than just kiss."
Of course you did. It's always been Evie Windsor.
I never stood a chance.
"You know, I never understood how Mason could have such a rabid jealousy towards his best mate. But now I see. He constantly felt threatened by you, Felix. Because he knew that if you just snapped your fingers you'd take it all away. Including his girlfriend. That's why he went after me. He bid wrong though. You don't even care about me. You never did. You just liked the idea of me. And now I see that."
A chill ran down my spine as Felix's eyes darkened. His large hand sternly gripped my arm as he pulled me along his side.
"F-felix slow down!" My feet dragged against the ground as he forced me down the long hallway. He pushes us into an empty classroom. I quietly look up at him. He looked like he was going to explode. His face was the color of a tomato. His fists sternly shook as his eyes focused on me.
I wait for him to yell.
But he doesn't. His hands cover his face as he takes a deep breath in.
"What's happened to us, Y-n?" He whispered gently into the air.
My lips part open. I long to say something, but I can't seem to form a single sentence. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel anything. My heart felt like it was being ripped out of my chest.
"I did care about you. I still do."
"You have a funny way of showing it." I swallowed hard as I felt him come closer to me. My nose slightly grazed his chest as he towered over me. His head gently laid on top of my head as his arms wrapped around me.
Whenever he messed up, he would pull this one move on me. He knew I couldn't resist his charms. How could I not forgive him when his chin laid adoringly above my head.
"I regret abandoning you when I knew you were going through much more. I'm sorry. I was angry at you for the whole Mason thing."
"Felix I—-"
