It was a regular day in Tokyo jujutsu metropolitan highschool
The principal, principal Masamichi Yaga, was in a meeting with the head manager of jujutsu high, kiyotaka ijichi
He was stressed like always
After taking the role of the principal it was a regular for him to be stressed all the time. It wasn't something unusual or surprising. But even after so many years, he didn't like this feeling of being stressed
At first, he thought it would get better with time. So he sucked everything up and kept doing his duty. but it never got easy. It was almost like he hated his job but didn't at the same time
He sighed
He can't do much about it. He'd work so hard for this position that now even thinking about resigning sounds like making fun of himself. Trust him when he tells you he would change himself if he could go back in time
"You look really exhausted, principal sir. Do you need me to bring you something to drink? Coffee or maybe green tea"
Ijichi, being the kind soul he is, asked to help the man Infront of him
Yaga just shook his head
"I don't need anything to drink, ijichi. I just need a little rest. I'd be better if I take a few days off and visit my family in the states"
Yaga said, rubbing his temples while checking a file
"I think that will be good, though I doubt the higher ups Will let u do that"
Ijichi said
He would sympathize with Yaga. This man has to work too much
Yaga sighed hearing Ijichi's answer
"I know... But it doesn't hurt to give it a try"
Both of them had laugh about that
"It's been a while"
Yaga whispered to himself
"I know, principal yaga. I remember, you missing your daughter the most when you started as the principal here at jujutsu highschool. How is she now?"
Ijichi asked
A nostalgic smile could be seen in Yaga's face.
"Yeah... She's a big girl now. She had just finished highschool. Elsa told me she was one of the honar students"
Ijichi smiled seeing the proud smile on his face. He looked so incredibly happy talking about his daughter
Ijichi knew how hard it was to not see your family for so many years, how it feels to not be included in your childs major events, to know they are growing up without you
And Yaga had to go through everything. But there wasn't anything that could be done
"Is that so? I am glad, sir. So is she planning to continue her higher studies?"
Yaga opened his phone, looking at a picture of a 13 year old Eira, his one and only daughter
