The dimly lit room reeked of fear, the flickering chandelier casting ghostly shadows on the walls. A man, dressed in all black, stood motionless in front of a masked woman seated on an opulent sofa. His breaths were uneven, his body tense as two guns pressed against either side of his head. The weight of his life dangled on the edge of her whim.

“M-Madam, please…” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. “I have two small children. What will they do if I die? Please… tell me why you kidnapped me.”

A soft chuckle echoed through the room, dark and mocking. The woman tilted her head slightly, her fingers tapping rhythmically against the armrest. “That’s exactly why I kidnapped you.” Her tone dripped with amusement as she let out a low, almost melodic laugh.

His lips quivered. “I—I don’t understand…”

She leaned forward, her masked face only inches away from him. “You want to live for your family, don’t you?”

“Y-Yes, madam! Please, let me go. I swear I won’t tell anyone.”

“No, no…” She clicked her tongue. “That’s not what I want.” Her voice dropped into a whisper, sending a shiver down his spine. “If you truly want to live… if you want your family to stay safe… you will do exactly as I say.”

The man swallowed hard. His pulse pounded in his ears as he nodded frantically. “I’ll do anything… just don’t hurt my family.”

She leaned back, satisfied. “Good. Then listen carefully. You recently signed a contract with Mr. Rajvanshi. He asked you to gather information on Priya Verma, didn’t he?”

His eyes widened. “H-How do you know that?”

She didn’t answer. Instead, she lifted her leg and kicked him hard in the stomach. He crashed to the floor with a painful thud, coughing as he struggled to breathe.

“I don’t need your questions. I need answers,” she snapped coldly. “Give me every detail you’ve collected. Now.”

The man clutched his stomach, his hands trembling. “B-But, madam—”

A sharp whistle cut through the air, and one of her guards cocked his gun, aiming it at his forehead.

She sighed dramatically. “Why do men always make things so difficult? Listen carefully.” She crossed one leg over the other, her voice turning lethal. “Either you give me what I want, or my guards will ensure your wife and children receive you… piece by piece.

His entire body turned cold. The mere mention of his family sent panic coursing through his veins. He had no choice.

“I-I’ll do it,” he blurted out. “I’ll give you everything. Just don’t hurt them.”
