They walked in and sat down.

Lucy: "What do you want to talk about?"

Tim: "First, how are you?"

Lucy: "I'm good, why?"

Tim: "You look exhausted and I was told that you struggled a lot. Jackie told me as she is worried about you."

Lucy: "I'm just a bit tired but I'm good."

Tim: "She told me everything. Why didn't you ask for help? We all would have helped you."

Lucy: "I didn't want people to think that I couldn't handle have the girls. It's my fault that I got pregnant."

Tim: "It takes two people for that, it's not your fault. But we all feel bad that you were struggling when we thought you were going well."

Lucy: "It is what it is?"

Tim: "No Lucy. It's not okay to be struggling. How bad is it?" Lucy didn't want to share so she stayed quiet.

Tim: "Luce, please tell me."

Lucy (deep breath in): "Not good. One stage it got to the point that I could only feed the girls. I have been pulling as many shifts as I can." Tim hugged Lucy.

Tim: "Omg Luce, I'm paying you child support."

Lucy: "No, I don't want you to."

Tim: "Well then we are going to share the costs, go half in it. I'll take the girls on the weekend and Wednesday, you will have them all the other times. We can change days if needed. You need a break, have a week off."

Lucy: "I can't, I need to work."

Tim: "No, you need to take care of yourself. The girls need their mum. I'm here to help." They talked a bit more before leaving the office.

Lucy went to hang out with the girls. Angela and Nyla approached Tim.

Nyla: "How was your little talk?"

Tim: "Not good."

Angela: "What do you mean?

Tim: "Lucy's really struggling. She just barely opened up to me. She not in a good place at all."

Nyla: "How bad?"

Tim: "Not eating, so her babies could eat."

Angela: "Oh my gosh, no wonder she looks so skinny. She is also extremely tired."

Tim: "Everything is catching up to her. The abduction, then the countless hospital trips for Abby and having to care for two kids by herself."

Nyla: "She needs to have a break."

Tim: "She won't, she's planning on picking up more shifts and working longer on days I have the girls." Grey walks over and the others fill him in on it.

Grey: "She told me it was bad but not this bad. I can't believe I missed it."

Tim: "It was that bad that she was taking time off work to care for the girls. I offered her child support but she refused."

Nyla: "She trying to prove that she can be a mother and a detective, but we know how badass she is. We don't need her to prove herself, but it's clear that she needs to 'prove herself'."

Tim: "Jackie said that she cried almost every night and there was one night she had a heated conversation on the phone."

Angela: "Oh my god, that's why she never spoke about her promotion. We need to get her to know that we are there for her."

Tim: "I don't know how to do that." The gang was talking when they heard screams.

Grey: "That's the girls." They ran in the direction of the screams, when they found the girls. Lucy was collapsed on the floor and the girls were trying to wake her. Abby was panicking, Tim went over to her trying to calm her while Angela was with Jackie and Grey was over with Lucy. Abby wouldn't calm down, Tim placed her head on his chest and Kojo came over to place his head on her lap. She calmed down instantly.

Tim: "Your okay. Sweetie, your mum is fine." She cuddled tighter against her father. Angela was comforting Jackie. Grey and Nyla were trying to wake Lucy, when all of a sudden Nyla's hand bumped something. She lifted Lucy's shirt.

Nyla: "Hey guys, we have a problem." Everyone shot her a look.

Nyla: "Lucy's diabetic as well. Her pump is showing a warning notification. Hey Jackie, did you know?"

Jackie: "What? No, she never told us." Grey immediately called an ambulance and they went to the hospital. Both girls were upset and worried for their mum.

Abby: "What if mama isn't okay? What's going to happen to us?"

Tim: "Your mum will be fine. Don't think like this and nothing is going to happen to you girls, we all are going to be there for you two and your mum."
