After a few hours, Lucy woke up. She looked around the room, taking in where she was. A doctor walked in.

Doctor: "Your awake, let me call your emergency contact."

Lucy: "Please don't. What happen and how long am I here for? Also when can I go to work?"

Doctor: "You passed out because of your low glucose levels. Your will be here for 2 days and won't return to work for a week." Lucy panicked.

Lucy: "No I can't. I have two girls that need me and I can't stay here."

Doctor: "You need to."

Lucy: "I can't afford this at all."

Doctor: "I'll leave that for you but you're staying. I bring in the visitors for you."

Lucy: "Don't tell them what I said." The doctor nodded and left the room. Lucy laid there crying and turned away from the door. The doctor arrived in the waiting room.

Doctor: "People for Lucy Chen?" Everyone stood up and walked over.

Nyla: "What happen and is she okay?"

Doctor: "Her levels were low and will be here for a few days and off work for a week. As for your other question, you need to talk to her about that." The doctor showed them to the room, they saw the state she was in.

Angela: "Hey Luce, we're glad you're okay. Can you roll over for us?" The girls spoke but got nothing back. Grey walked around to where Lucy was facing and saw how she was feeling.

Grey: "Luce, it's time to come clean. We all know you're not going well, we're here to support you." Lucy looked at Grey with pain in her eyes, she rolled onto her back.

Lucy: "Fine, what do you want to know?"

Nyla: "Why did you never tell us about your diabetes?"

Lucy: "Because, you guys would have seen it as a disability. Bouncing me out of the FTO program just like that."

Grey: "We would've not of bounced you out of the program. Now after leaving Mid-Wilshire, how long was it before you were struggling?" Lucy knew they were going to ask a lot of questions.

Lucy: "About 7 months are leaving. Then it just started getting worst" Everyone was shock.

Angela: "How bad are you struggling?"

Lucy (deep breath): "Started rationing food, ensuring I had enough to feed the girls and provide a roof over their head. I started eating less, saving it for the girls. Had to take time off work, to look after the girls. No one was being nice to me at the station, always bullying me." She paused.

Lucy: "My parents found out everything and disowned me, telling me never to contact them again. I started picking up more shifts and worked more."

Angela: "Oh Luce, is it still bad?" She nodded. Tim stood quiet, seeing how much she is struggle. She was just trying to do the right thing and save his career, but it costed her greatly.

Nyla: "Just how bad?"

Lucy: "I can't afford this trip at all and my health insurance doesn't cover this, I checked. I'm on the verge ... of ... being ... homeless."

Grey: "What? We didn't know it was this bad." Lucy quickly looked at Tim.

Lucy: "I know what you are thinking. I'm not fit to be a mother to your kids, but please don't take them away from me." She curled up into a ball on the bed.
