The Rookie - Lost

Part 3

Lucy was crying as this was the first time she has been so far away from them.

Abby and Jackie made their way down the street, they had to stop to give Abby her meds. She is very weak, so Jackie was holding her as they walked to guide her. They continued walking until they reached the station. They looked at each other and walked in.

A police officer from the front desk and came up to them.

Officer: "Hey, are you guys okay?"

Jackie: "We were asked to get help. Please help."

Over the radio, Officer: "Sergeant Grey, we have a problem. I'll bring it to your office." He agreed. The officer walked the girls over to Grey's office; in their waiting was Tim, Angela and Nyla along with Grey. 

Officer: "These two came walking into the station needing help." Grey looked down and was worried. The officer left.

Nyla: "Are you girls okay? And what's your names?"

Abby: "Ab-a -"

Jackie: "We're not okay, we need help to save our mama. I'm Jackie and this is Abby."

Angela: "What's in your hand?" Jackie passed the note over.

The note:

Help me. The abandoned warehouse 10 minutes from the station. Take care of my girls, they are my everything.

Jackie looked over at Abby, saw the state she was in.

Jackie: "My sister needs help." Grey was in complete shock.

Nyla: "What's wrong with your sister?"

Jackie: "She has diabetes, we have ran out of meds and food to give her." Tim ran to get food and a some meds. And he ran back with the stuff. 

Tim: "I'm sorry, but I need to check your levels. You're going to feel a little prick." Tim does the test, her glucose levels are low. He gives her a shot of insulin and some food to eat.

Abby: "T-Thank ... you." He smiled in return. Grey came out of his state and went around to the girls.

Grey: "Hey, come here." He hugs them tightly

Grey (while hugging them): "Get ready, we are wheels up in 2 minutes. (looks at the girls) Let's get your mum." They go to a shop, Nyla was driving while Grey at in the back with the girls.

Nyla: "How do you know them?"

Grey: "That is a long story for another time."

Angela and Tim rode together behind the others.

Angela: "Weird question, but do you have any kids? Like a girl that you knocked up."

Tim: "No, why?"

Angela: "Because those girls look a bit like you, they have blue eyes like yours." They all arrive at the warehouse and preparing to breach.

Grey: "Okay, listen up. Before we go in, I should warn you, we know the person that we are saving." The girls stayed with Grey while the others breached. 

They split up and search the building. Tim and Angela arrested two men, Nyla walked up to a door as she heard a struggling. She opened the door and couldn't even believe her eyes.

It was Lucy getting raped by a man. Nyla started fighting the man before arresting him. She cuffed him then cuffed him to a pipe and went over to Lucy, she was zoned out.

Nyla: "Omg, Lucy. It's you."

Lucy (softly): "Hi." Nyla help her get changed and guided her outside. 

Lucy took a few minutes to breathe in the few air and seeing the sun. She looked over to see her girls. she walked a few feet and her girls ran up to her.

Lucy: "Oh my babies, you okay. You guys did it."

Both girls: "Mummy!" They hug and Grey approached them. Lucy got up and hugged him tightly

Grey: "Lucy, you okay?"

Lucy: "No, I'm not. Thanks for looking after the girls."

Grey: "It's okay, lets get you all checked out."

Lucy (whispered in his ear): "And get a rape kit done." Grey pulled back shocked, he took them to the hospital.
