Harper POV:

I sat on Riley's couch as she ran around looking for the remote. When she found it, she ran over to me and excitedly plopped down onto the couch next to me. Today they would announce who would be playing in the senior all star game as well as what awards those players received.

Spring soccer was over and Riley's cast was long gone. You could tell that she wanted to get back in the game more than anything. She quickly clicked on the tv and switched to the sports channel.

"Welcome back to the Vermont sports channel. I'm you're host Bob Cromwell and today, the lists for the boys and girls high school senior all star teams have been announced." the host started.

"HEY YOU'RE WATCHING WITHOUT US?!" Josh screamed from the other room. You could hear footsteps running down the hall as Josh, Drew, Kylie, Grace, and Lexi all ran into the living room. They jumped and plopped down onto the couch excitedly.

"Starting with the boys first team we have Mathew McConohay, Kevin Fitzgerald, Anthony Chavez..." He went on listing name after name. "....Andrew Bourne, and Josh Ashton." the announcer concluded.

At the conclusion of the announcement Josh and Drew flung up from their seats on the couch screaming and laughing. They pulled each other into a hug as they jumped up and down.

"WE'RE SENIOR ALL STARS BABY!!!!" Drew screamed. I sat on the couch with the rest of the girls, smiling and laughing. By the time they settled down the news host was wrapping up the announcements for the boys second team. "The boy's senior all star game will be played at 7pm on May 20th. Now for the girl's senior all star first team."

The room went silent and the boys quickly took their seats back on the couch. The announcer looked down at the list and shook his head with a smile. "Well it looks like Scranton High school has taken this season by storm with three players making the first team and two making the second team. Before I announce the complete lists why don't we congratulate players Riley Sader, Harper Fields, and Kylie Ross on making the Vermont women's senior all star first team."

The three of us jumped up off the couch screaming with joy the same way that the boys had.

"Wait be quiet! He's about to announce who made the second team." Riley said shushing us. We calmed down but stayed standing as we turned our attention back to the screen. "And congratulations to Lexi Maddox and Grace Dawson on making the second senior all star team."

Grace and Lexi then jumped off the couch and joined in on our screaming and celebrating. The announcer went back to announcing the full list for both teams. We had calmed down in time to hear that Keeley Jones made the first team and Liv Mason made the second team. Everyone looked at Riley as those names were announced.

"Great I get to play against Liv again." Riley said but she wasn't being sarcastic. "When you see that bitch, take her out." Josh spat angrily and Riley nodded.

"How do you feel about playing on a team with Keeley?" I asked Riley, trying to diffuse the situation and get everyone's focus off of the girl that broke Riley's arm. Riley sat back down on the couch and we all joined her.

"I don't know. It shouldn't be too bad unless she's still mad about losing to us on senior night." Riley stated.

"We'll be fine, forget about them. We all just made the senior all star teams, lets enjoy it and have some fun." Kylie said.
