Chapter 47: Her One Sight

Ayan deputed all of his men in finding the whereabouts of Myra but all the ends ended empty. There was not even a single clue as where the dozens of men vanished within a night. More importantly, he was desperate to find out information regarding how Manav found out about Myra. The country was his local hub and not even a single movement goes unnoticed by him in the city, and in the same city, not only a few men smuggled themselves but also took his love away from him. He was furious. On getting the information regarding color and type of vehicles the abductors were travelling in from Samantha, he ordered his men to search the video footages of all the traffic cameras inside the city of that night. Since there is a little possibility of a group of cars travelling together at nighttime, he was hopeful that he may find out about their whereabouts. Despite his injuries, he took discharge from the hospital and was on his way to his headquarters when he received call from one of his trusted men Falak.

Falak: Boss, the security cameras reveal that a group of cars have moved towards the outskirts of the city at night. Also, we inquired from the locals around the port area and came two know that a high-speed ship carrying a few men arrived at the port 2 days ago and it wasn't their today morning. I have gathered the information of the boat as per the descriptions collected. It is a specially modified ship to run extremely fast and carry huge weights. It is generally used for transporting goods, but no country has any record for owning such ships except for their armed forces. So, we might me looking at some un located enemies which makes it extremely difficult for us as the international waters are spread in a huge distance and it is impossible for us to navigate the whereabouts of the boats due to lack of communication satellite in the deep oceans. What should we do? What are your further orders?

Ayan: Keep searching on the nearby islands to ask if they may have taken a stop at their journey. Also, they must need fuel refilling for their boat. Try to get information from the nearby dealers for any fuel refilling in such boat in last 2 days. Keep me posted.

Falak disconnected the phone, but Ayan's heart sank. Water territories are their unexplored area, and many dangers surround that area. The biggest problem is that since most of the islands in the international waters are uninhibited, there are no communication facilities on those islands. Also, there are unknown natural dangers lurking in waters like tides and storms. How are they going to find Myra in this situation? But his heart didn't give up. On Ayan's orders, they enquired about Myra's life from the past 3 months to see if there were any other abnormalities. One of the reports caught his eye when he saw a photo from the departmental store, the same store where he found Ivy, the photo was of the salesmen handing over goods to Myra on subsidized rates as per the social activities done by his company. The photo caught his attention immediately.

Ayan: Keshav, I think I have seen this photo before. Yes, the corporate social responsibility proposal of the last meeting. Bring that proposal to me.

Keshav brought that proposal and both of them were shocked to see that it was the same photo in their proposal, but the face of the girl was blurred slightly so that no one recognize her.

Ayan: Got it. Someone from our company is working from him. They found about Myra before us and chose to keep us in dark. They deliberately blurred the photo, so we don't recognize her. Keshav, find out who is the black mole in our company and bring that person to me.
