Chapter 10: The Proposal

Ayan's POV

I'm losing my sanity. How could she do this? I know she is smart, but how dare she outsmart me. I have everything which a girl wants- looks, fame and money. Still she doesn't give up so easily. I also gave her space to accept me, but still she tried to reject me. But today, I'll make her realise her mistake, I'll tell her whom she belongs too. I have whole night today for explaining my offer to her which she cannot reject.

Myra's POV

I felt my head heavy and opened my eyes slowly. Seeing strange environment around me, I immediately tried to sit up only to realise a sharp pain in my hands which I soon realized were tied to the bed post above me. I was laying on a king sized bed in a strange room which was filled with dark colours. I shivered looking at the surroundings and remembered what happened before my blacking out. Suddenly I heard some movements outside the room and I got alert. Someone opened the door and I closed my eyes due to sudden emerging of light in the dark room. I managed to open my eyes after a great difficulty, but as soon as I saw Ayan standing over there, all the blood drained out of my body and I started shaking out of fear. What have I done? Why is he looking so angry? His eyes were showing fury and rage. He was not in his farewell clothes now; he was wearing his tracks only showing his muscles and toned body. I gasped in horror as I saw him approaching me. I tried to untie my hands but my efforts were in vain as the ropes were too tight. I'm sure my hands must have been bruised by now.

"Hope you sleep well my princess." His voice was dangerously low as he spoke while coming towards me.

"W...wh....wwhhyy a..am I here?" I managed to ask him.

"Aaaawwww my baby, why are you so scared? You are here because I want you to be here. Besides, you are looking too sexy in this saree for the other men to look. I don't want them to look at what's mine like this." He said while sitting on the bed besides me and pointing towards my naked stomach.

"Please leave me, What have I done now? I thought everything was over between us. I didn't do anything. Then why are you doing all this. What's my mistake?" Now I was determined to know the reason

"Don't you know what you have done sweetheart? I thought you'd remember my promise of making you come to me for your help. Then from where the fuck did that company came in between which gave you a job offer?" He snapped

"Wwhhh... which Job offer? I..I don't know what you are talking about." I tried to sound truthful but I know that I failed miserably.

Listening to this, he smiled and began untying my hands. I felt a bit relieved on getting rid of those ropes which were piercing in my skin. He then, handed me his tab and asked me to open my mail to which I denied.

"Don't be a kid Myra. Just do as I say, open you mail now." He said sternly

"No, Why would I? Am I mad to show you my mailbox." I said firmly

"I'm asking you for the last time, open it. Else I'll make you open it in my way. And I'm sure you won't like my way of making you do work. So now, be a good girl and type in your password. And I promise you that I won't do any trick to save it. Trust me and open it now." His voice was low yet held warning. Thinking about what he can do, I immediately typed my password and open my mailbox which showed 1 unread mail at the top from the company in which I got job offer. I immediately opened the mail and started reading it. It said

"Ms. Myra
we took a background check on your profile and we came to know that all the certificates which you showed us were fake. We hereby cancel your job offer on the account of misleading the company. This mail also been sent to all the other company's HR and we are sorry to inform you that you are now blacklisted for consulting profile from all the companies. We hereby recommend you to be truthful to the company while applying for a job as it is in the best interest for both the employer and employee. Now, you may not dare to challenge our decision as you have already wasted a lot of time of the consulting association and any further disturbance will lead to consequences which can even destroy your career.
