chapter two | how am i the emotional one? ————————————————————————
when the ghosts heard the two girls' footsteps get closer to them, the boys decided to 'act natural'. reggie sat down on the floor right next to juniper's feet, as she just stayed in the same position as she was before. on the other side of her, luke stood in a similar position as her, and alex pretended to be fascinated with the light on the wall.
as julie and her friend walked out of the studio, julie closed the door and spotted the four ghosts. she looked at juniper confused, not remembering meeting when she met the boys, but smiled at her when junie sent her a soft smile and a shy wave. "hey, guys!"
when julie spoke, her friend turned around, looking at her confused. julie, realising her mistake, put on a big smile and walked over to her, "let's hustle!"
as she was walking out of the yard, she turned around and waved to the ghosts, and they waved back, with reggie saying, "don't worry! we weren't listening!" making luke lean over juniper and kick reggie gently, silently telling him to stop talking.
julie pretended to be swatting a bug once she realised her friend noticed her, and awkwardly laughed as she pushed her towards the gate, "let's go!."

the four ghosts walked through the door into the studio, and juniper looked around with a smile on her face.
"i wonder why julie didn't tell us she could shred on the piano?" reggie asked, looking at the piano.
"and sing! that girl can sing!" luke chimed in, also pointing at the piano.
"it probably has something to do with her mom, you know? must've been hard," alex said, and juniper agreed with him, "i agree, maybe it was her mom who got her into music in the first place, so playing and singing without her hurt too much," juniper chimed in, making the boys all nod their heads in agreement.
the ghosts all split up and walked around the studio, and juniper gravitated towards the plants - she was a plant lover.
"anyways, i really feel for her," alex said as he made he way up to the loft.
"yeah, but now she's for music back in her life, just like us." luke said as he walked towards the piano.
"yeah, i'm not sure you can call what we have a life," alex said, looking down at luke from the loft, "oh, hey! some of the clothes we left behind are still up here!" alex exclaimed as he chucked a bag of clothes down.
"talking about clothes, i need to grab some of mine from where i was staying. are you guys sure julie will be fine with letting me stay here?" junie said from by the plants as she prepared herself to poof out.
