Did he really just say that I have demon blood? No, he has to be wrong. My family has been nothing but werewolves throughout our entire history, there is no way my great-grandmother was a demon, I'm sure I would have been told about that during my fathers drills on our family history.
"Sir, I'm sorry but you have to be wrong, there is no way my great-grandmother was a demon" i said , shaking my head. My father had drilled me weekly for years about our family history and how it was pure and how we should be proud of being pure. So there is no way that my great-grandmother was a demon, its just not possible. "My father taught me all about my families history and there was never mention of any demon blood."
"Ah, but you see that was your fathers side of the family, I am sure. What about your mothers side?" elder Baron asked.
Ok, that kinda had me stumped. Mom never really talked about her family history, she kind of just went along with everything dad said about well, everything. She never disagreed with him or went against him on anything, so could that include not telling me everything about my family? Could what the elder was saying be true?
"Ok, you may be right about that, but why would I have never been told? Like that's kind of a huge thing to leave out about myself and my family. My father may have been a bit of a purest but my mother at least should've told me" i said, getting more and more confused.
"But, you see you just said it, your father was a purest, so why would he tell you about a part of your family that is not pure? I am sure that he would want to skim over or even omit the fact that you have demon ancestry all together." elder Baron said.
"It does make sense." Andy said, finally speaking for the first time.
I wanted to object but they were right. I highly doubt my father would tell me something like having a demon ancestor, he was too proud of the fact that for the last thousand years the Goddess has only assigned werewolves to our family as mates.
Ok, so my great-grandmother might have been a demon but that doesnt mean i have some sort of hidden magical power, im just a werewolf. If i had some magic in me shouldnt it of shown itself by now? I mean yeah ive had some weird stuff happen before, things have gone missing then mysteriously appeared right in front of my face, literally, but i always thought that was just jane and her family messing with me. I mean yeah i do heal a lot faster, most of the time, than other werewolves but i always thought that was just due to my pure bloodedness. There was also that time that i fell out of a tree at the age of five and instead of slamming into the ground i kind of just floated down, but i always thought that was my imagination and i just managed to get away without any major injuries. Ok, so maybe ive had some weird stuff happen in my life but nothing that would totally say that i have magic in me.
When i voiced this to andy and elder Baron, my mate shook his head and the elder chuckled. "Babe, you literally just said in your head all the things that make it appear that you hae some sort of magic running through your veins" andy said.
"Ok, thanks for intruding on my thoughts without permission, yet again" i grumbled, pinching andy on the arm.
"Hey!" he exclaimed, rubbing his arm where i had pinched him. "Its not my fault that your trying to be blind to the truth. Hell i could of told you that you had demon blood a long time ago, there is no other way you would of gotten a perfect score on the SAT without either having demon blood or cheating and i know your not a cheater."
"You used magic on some trivial school exam?" elder Baron asked, aghast.
"What? No, of course not!" i exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air. "I would never cheat on a test! I just studied really really hard for it. I pretty much have a photographic memory."
