Terra knew about alot, from troop movements to different battle tactics and she told us everything. When she was done we asked her to come along to the council meeting so she could tell them everything she had told us, which she happily agreed to. I think she was just happy to be proving herself to me and to be included in my life.

When we arrived at the council meeting Alissa, Beatrice and everyone else was already there waiting for us.

"Um who the hell is that?" anna asked me quietly as we walked into the meeting room. I smiled conspiratorially at her and shrugged, it wasnt my secret to tell.

"Now that everyones here," alissa said, giving our group a pointed look since we had been late. "We can begin." she took a deep breath then gestured to her mate, "im sure all of you are wondering who this is and why she is here. This is my second chance mate, beatrice." the room broke out in a rumble of murmurs.

"You expect us to believe that you were given a second chance mate?" elder Flint asked, incredulously.

Alissa shrugged, "honestly it doesnt matter to me if you believe me or not, its the truth. The Goddess has given me a second chance in beatrice and i plan to do whatever i can to love and protect her and will be announcing her as my new luna tonight, her commencement ceremony will of course take place after things have calmed down."

"Do you really think its such a good idea to introduce a new luna so soon after the loss of martha?" elder gore asked.

"The pack needs a luna to help lead them and so do i, i believe that the pack and the rest of the reservation will stand behind me on this. I am sure some will have questions, especially since, like our friend kari here, beatrice and i's situation is very rare, but after i explain myself i believe they will stand behind me." alissa said, matter-of-factly.

All of the elders looked at each other as if they thought differently about the situation, so i quickly chimed in before anymore could be discussed. "Terra here has some information about alpha miller and his pack that i think you all might want to hear."

My distraction worked and everyone turned their attention to terra who gulped. I nodded and sent her a small encouraging smile. "Ive been included in almost all of alpha miller and his lieutenants planning meetings for their attack on this reservation. They know that your weakest side is from the north and plan to strike there first before moving around to the western flank and taking out your western flank. They also plan on not using magic, instead focusing on the brute force that they have amassed by recruiting only the strongest of fighters." Everyone stared at my mother for a moment, not exactly knowing what to say.

"May i ask why you know this information? And why are you sharing it with us?" Elder hart asked, skeptically.

Terra stiffened, "i, um, im the mate of one of the top lieutenants" she said, quietly.

"You expect us to believe the word of one of the mates of the enemy? She could be giving us false information to throw us off our course." Elder baron said, incredulous. "I mean who would go into battle with out a phalanx of demons?"

Andy shook his head, "if you knew anything about alpha miller you would understand, the man puts no stock in magic, he believes that brute force is more powerful."

"And this nonsense about our northern flank being weakest?" trey asked. The north was the vampires designated zone for the attack, it was there job to protect the north at all costs.

"Obviously he doesnt know our plan of defense so how would he know we set the vampires there?" mary said with an eye roll. Ok i knew they were kind of lax around here with things but not enough for mary to roll her eyes in front of the high council and not directed at her coven leader.
