I cant believe we had actually just bickered over which kind of eggs were better, i mean come on! Obviously runny eggs are the superior egg, everyone knows that. No one was agreeing with me, but they all knew i was right, damnit!

It took a little while but eventually more people started arriving in drones, little groups kept popping up over the hill nearby every ten minutes or so. As everyone was arriving our group decided to start stretching after alissa had come over and asked for all of us to help with instructing the groups. Anna was a little perplexed as to why she was being asked but alissa said it was because she used to be one of the top fighters in her class, she just needed some time to get back to it. Anna reluctantly agreed to help after some minor prodding from me.

We all walked to the front of the field, standing infront of the soccer goal post in a straight line, watching as everyone started stretching.

"Can i get everyones attention please?" alissa yelled as adam and trey joined us with the rest of their people. Everyone turned to face front, most were wearing looks of exhaustion while others looked just like they didnt want to be here, some even looked scared. "I have been informed that many of you still have questions after the briefing last night, so if it is ok with her, i would like miss. Kari reeves to download everyone on the rest of the needed information before we get started. Kari, is that ok?"

I gulped. Me? Talk to a bunch of complete fucking strangers? Way to put me on the spot, alissa.

Andy took my hand and i nodded to alissa, feeling the strength from my mate seep through me. I can do this. We took a step forward and i felt magic course through my hand and up to my throat. "Hey, everybody" i was a little taken aback to realize the magic was andy magnifying my voice so that i could be heard across the massive field without yelling. "Um, honestly im not sure what to say. Does anyone have any question?"

"I do" of course it would be trey who would raise his hand first. I was really beginning to not like this guy.

"Ok?"

"How do we know for sure that you really are one of the fated with two mates?" the coven leader asked with a smug look on his face.

Yep, I should have seen that one coming.

Just tell the truth came andy's voice through the mate bond.

I took a deep breath and faced the crowd. "Take a seat yall, i think its time you all heard my whole story." i launched into my story, starting from the beginning when i found out about andy and jasper both being my mates, and made sure not to leave out a single detail. If these people were going to fight a war with me then they deserved to have all the facts.

As I spoke I reflected on the last two months and everything that had happened. Had it really only been two months ago that Jane and I were laying in her bed, back in ohio? Had it really been such a short time ago that i was worried about what kind of job i was going to be getting after school was done with? Wow it felt like years ago, not just a few months.

So much had happened in such a short amount of time that i honestly couldnt keep it all straight. I ended up my timeline a few times and had to be corrected by andy who would gently prod my mind and get me back on the right track.

When i was finished i opened the floor back up to questions and a few hands in the front popped up. I pointed to one of the woman with her hands raised, "yeah?"

"We were told that you would be the one leading us into battle, but you really dont seem to sure of yourself. How are we supposed to be sure your the right person?" she asked.

Damn, these people were really hitting me where it hurt, huh? "Look, your right im not sure that i am the right person to lead you into battle. Im not sure of alot of things, to be completely honest. The one thing i am sure of is if you do decide to follow me i will do everything in my power to make sure we win. My job as this 'chosen one'" i said using air quotes with my fingers, "is to make sure we win this war, and i do believe i can help with that. The big thing is making sure you all are ready, which means lots and lots of training. I know that you guys have never really focused much on training in your lives, and thats totally fine, under normal circumstances. Sadly, these are not normal circumstances and we are going to need as much time as we can squeeze out to get everyone into shape." i said, hoping that answered the womans question.
