Just because someone seems happy doesn't mean that their life is perfect.
That's because no one's life is perfect. Everyone has their own pain and backstory that they don't share with anyone.
All of us are actors. Some are better or worse than others, but at the end of the day, actors.
No, I don't mean those people you see in movies. Or those who you see in shows and on TV screens.
I mean real people who have real problems. We don't always get happy endings, and that's because this world is fucked up and so are the people in it.
People don't have a choice because that's life. Someone betrays you; you move on. If someone hurts you, you move on. Someone breaks you, and you move on.
Sometimes I see the pain, anger, and sadness behind people's eyes, and I wonder if they can sense mine too.
Words can only convey so much, whereas eyes speak a thousand more feelings than words could.
