RECAP:

Nya got up and hugged him, "Oh my gosh, well done!"

"I didn't win, though. X did. She gave me this and just disappeared."

"I guess you earned it. Why else would she give you that money?"

Why else...?

The next evening Kai was getting ready to leave for another race.

"What's the prize?" Nya asked.

"Oh, this is a friendly race."

"Will X be there?"

Kai furrowed his brows, "You know, I don't think she is. She said 'see you in a few races time' the last time I saw her. It was weird."

"Huh. Can I come? Just to watch, not to race. I want to see you race at least once. I also wanna meet those jerks that you're always on about."

Kai stared hesitantly before looking at the car keys in his hand.

"I'm off work today...?"

Kai sighed. "Fine. But as soon as you see any police, you go straight home. And no drinking. I don't want you getting a hangover."

"YESS!" She laughed excitedly like a child getting ice cream. She put on her black leather jacket over her black cropped top with light blue, high waist jeans along with her white worn out shoes. They left and hopped into Kai's red Dodge Charger. They drove to their destination. 

Of course, who's face do they see?

Cole 'Rocky' Brookstone's. Kai got out of the car first. He shut the door and saw Zane standing with Cole by the white Mustang. Jay was with Lloyd who was sat on the roof of the green Chevrolet, watching Kai drive in.

"Look who it is," Cole said sarcastically, smirking slightly.

Nya got out of the car. And followed Kai to the group.

"Ooh, who's this pretty lady?" Jay joked.

"Guys, Kai 'El Diablo' Smith got himself a girlfriend," Lloyd teased.

"They really don't know anything about you," Nya said. "I'm Nya, Kai's sister."

"Oh shit," Lloyd laughed.

"For siblings, you don't look much alike," Zane pointed out. "Either way, it's nice to meet you, Nya Smith," Zane shook Nya's hand.

"Nice to meet you too... uh...?"

"Zane 'Falcon' Julien."

"Thanks Zane, at least someone is welcoming around here."

Kai laughed at the rest, "Damn, yeah, you don't want to mess with this mini 'Diablo'." Nya rolled her eyes at the comment. 

"Well, sorry about that, I'm Cole 'Rocky' Brookstone."

"Uh- I'm Jay 'Sparky' Walker!" Jay said nervously, blushing slightly.

"Lloyd 'Dragon' Garmadon." Lloyd did a small salute with two fingers. 

"So, these are the jerks you're on about? They don't seem all that bad. Bad at welcoming, that's for sure. Apart from Zane, obviously."

They all looked at each other. Then Cole spoke up, "Jerks, huh?"

"No- uh- no- not at all! I didn't call you jerks, who called you jerks?" Kai turned to Nya and gritted his teeth, "Are you trying to get me killed?"

"Sorry. I wanna see how you guys race," Nya said, "When is it starting?"

"About now," Zane calculated. They got in their cars and drove to the starting line. Nya watched from a random bench.
