"And then I thought, why not just..."
I could listen to his voice allll day.
"So then I..."
It's so calming. He can be annoying sometimes, but he's priceless.
"Ronin."
I can't think of anyone better than—
"Ronin! Are you even listening?"
I got my elbows off the counter and tapped my fingers on it. I averted my gaze to every object in the room until I met Dareth's brown eyes. "Uh- Yeah."
He crossed his arms and raised his eyebrow. "What was I talking about then?"
"When I said I was listening, I meant I was listening to your voice, not the words coming out of your mouth. I didn't understand a word you said, but I don't need to. I know that you were talking about how you got your trophies. Again," Ronin smirked at his boyfriend, who was blushing a bit out of embarrassment.
Dareth visits Ronin's shop pretty regularly. The shop was usually pretty empty, but he moved to the capital city where he gets quite a few more customers. The shop was closing soon and the couple usually takes a walk after closing time.
"Well, I don't hear you talking about anything interesting."
"I don't like my voice. Once I talk too much it gets annoying," he explained while putting his elbows back on the counter. He placed his chin under his left hand and he fiddled with the clock to the right of him with his other hand, plastering a barely noticeable frown on his face.
Dareth leaned over and pecked his lips. "I don't find your voice annoying."
"You're just saying that to make me feel better."
Dareth shook his head and smiled. "No, I'm serious! I love your voice! I love everything about you."
Ronin smiled back and kissed Dareth in the lips. "I love you too." He grabbed the keys to the shop and Dareth followed him out.
"The shop closes in ten minutes..."
"I have places I'd rather be," Ronin replied as he locked the shop. He held his hand out for Dareth to take. Dareth smiled, took his hand and on their daily evening walk they went.
I'M REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY I couldn't update this much earlier. I have a bunch of school work and stuff and I was more focused on updating other books.
Anyway, DumbassWriter17 you're request is finally complete. Sorry it's short, I couldn't think of anything better :( I think it's still cute though idk :)
