What if PIXAL followed Zane into the Never-Realm? - 3

PIXAL gasped as she saw the Ice Emperor's true face.

Zane...

Zane had the blade of the staff at Vex's throat. "You will do well not to try that again..." He turns to PIXAL. "I'm sorry about that. My general here will not interrupt us again."

"You're Zane..."

"There is no Zane... I am the Ice Emperor. I rule this realm."

They were both interrupted by the doors bursting open. Akita ran straight through and was about to attack Zane.

"Akita, no!" PIXAL stopped Akita and pushed her back. "That's not the Ice Emperor! That's Zane! He's the one I'm here to rescue! It's hard to explain."

"You know the Emperor?? And you call ME a traitor!"

"Who do you call Zane? You will do well not to call me that again!" Zane pointed the staff at Pix, who just managed to dodge the ice blast. "My name is not Zane!"

"Yes it is! How can you not remember? It's me, PIXAL, your-"

"SILENCE!" Zane yelled as he blasted another shot of Ice at PIXAL, who barely dodged it.

"I will make you remember, even if it means having to knock it into your thick nindroid skull! Woah!" she yelled as she dodged another few ice blasts, one of which was blocked by the scroll she held. Akita attacked Zane but was turned into corrupted ice.

"Akita!" Pix was distracted by Akita's defeat, that she didn't realise that she was blasted at too. She turned to ice, but her head was uncovered. "Zane! Please!"

"Do it master, finish her..."

"Wait, no! Zane this isn't who you are! You don't kill! You protect!"

"Ugh! I'll do it..."

"Protect...?"

"Some saviour you turned out to be! You couldn't even protect yourself!" Vex was about to strike his spear through her head when...

"VEX!" Zane stopped him by knocking his spear away. He ripped the mask off which revealed his true voice. "Stay away from her!" Zane knocked Vex back and broke the ice which kept the first scroll in his hand. He smashed the sceptre which lifted the curse over the Never-Realm; everyone was freed from the ice and the palace returned to normal.

Zane ran over to PIXAL and helped her up, "PIXAL!"

"Zane!" She hugged him tightly while he hugged back. "I knew you'd remember! I knew it!"

"Thank you, Pix." He pulled away and kissed her forehead. "Where are the others?"

"I came alone..."

A handful of people ran from where the dungeons were. Akita spotted Kataru and ran to him, "Kataru!"

"Akita!" He laughed as he swung her up and hugged her.

PIXAL and Zane came back to the village after finding travellers tea along making a friend, Krag, not wanting to use the scroll again to avoid any corruption. Sorla, however, shook her head sadly as she was given the tea. "I have consulted the spirits of the Hearth Fire and I have learned of this Ninjago. It is far from here. The leaves of the Traveller's Tree will not have the strength to bear you home."

"But w-we can get more! We can go back to the mountain and-and we can-"

"It is no use. No amount of leaves will suffice. If we only had something more portent."

Zane remembered pretending to eat that berry from Krag. "Sorla, what about this?" He opened his hand to reveals the berry. Sorla smiled while Pix and Zane cheered.

Master Wu was looking at a picture of PIXAL and Zane under a cherry blossom tree when he heard a faint yell coming from Jay, "What the heck?" He ignored it and put the picture back on its shelf when Lloyd ran in.

"Master, you've got to see this!" They both run outside to see the ninja outside, standing around a pink portal. The watched as Zane and PIXAL walked through with the first scroll of forbidden spinjitzu.

"PIXAL, Zane!!" The ninja yelled as they came in for a group hug.

"We thought we'd never see you again!" Jay yelled.

Master Wu made his way to Zane and hugged him.

"Master Wu, it is good to see you!"

"You too, Zane!" He said, wiping his eyes, "You too..."

Kai flexed his powers which he got back when him and the ninja managed to defeat the Preeminent. "That's a story for another day!" The ninja laugh as they go inside the monastery.
