EXCUSE ME?!

LLOYD'S POV

I was at the monastery minding my own business. I watered the plants, leveled the frames, dusted a little, swept a little and got rid of anything jamming the gears in the training course (let's just say I finally found Jay's extra pair of underwear which he always seemed to forget during past missions).

It was a handful, but I got it done. I noticed that the monastery was a bit quieter, but that might be because Sora was focusing more on meditation. And Arin was...

He was...

Uhh...

What was he doing again?

Wait...

Where is he?

Usually I'd hear him shout "Ow" every now and then. He has the tendency to punch himself in the face or accidentally let an obstacle fly at his face. I looked around and he was nowhere to be seen.

"I thought he was practicing his 'object spinjitzu'."

So I basically freed these kids from a train and Arin used object spinjitzu to free a dragon with Sora and I fought some weird guy who was talking in third person. Rapton was it? Anyway, we had to jump off the train because Sora accidentally made bombs with some power of technology which came from the little dragon. Then I encountered a weird lion guy.

Ever since the merge happened, everything was really weird.

Anyway, I suddenly got a call from Arin. "Arin! Where are you?"

"What do you mean? I'm with Rapton."

"What?! Hang in there! What's your location?"

"Uh... Just outside the crossroads. Why?"

"I'll be there soon."

Sora and I rushed to the crossroads to save Arin from Rapton. Sora stopped down one of the alleyways. "Wait, you just said Arin's been captured."

"Yeah?"

"Then why are we heading to his home?"

"What do you mean?"

"This way." I followed Sora up a huge ladder until we got to the top apartment. We knocked on the door before letting ourselves inside. Arin was sitting at a table with Rapton, and they were holding a handful of cards each.

"Hey, Lloyd!" said Arin.

"Rapton?" said Sora.

"You know him?" I asked.

"Yeah? He's Arin's dad."

"Excuse me?!"

"Well, adopted," Arin added.

"Sora! It's been a while!" Sora and Rapton gave each other a brief hug.

"Why did you attack me on the train?" I asked.

"I was trying to save my son, and you got in the way."

"Rapton and Ras adopted me after the merge. Five years ago," Arin said.

"Who's Ras?"

"My other dad."

That's when the lion guy who attacked me came out of the kitchen.

"WHAT THE F—"
