10 am in the morning, and as doorbell rang.  Eda went to her door and saw the 3 teenagers.  She looked at the kids, Liam who she feared would kill her in her kitchen or something, due to the way he was staring at her, and Cassandra, who she just thought would be annoying as fuck, because well... Blonde hair, and nakusa who looked like she would either burn the house down or the entire Amazon jungle.  "Uh.. Hi," eda muttered. "Hii! It's nice to meet you" Cassandra said, eda scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Alright... Uhm, come in, you guys don't mind sharing a room, right?" Eda asked. "Uh.. Nope," nakusa said, as all three of them followed eda, and they were very surprised by the room.

It was nice and looked like thought was out into it. Although it was a little random, Liam then laid on the carpet and started counting the ceiling tiles. "Uhm.. What is he doing?" Eda asked. "Oh, yeah, Liam's high-functioning autistic," Cassandra said. "A good know... Anything else?" Eda asked. "Nakusa has ADHD" Cassandra added. "Mhm.. The one with white hair... Right?" Eda asked. "Fuck you!" Nakusa barked, then looked out the window.   "Alright-.. So.. Nakusa... Liam.. and.. What's your name?" Eda asked. "Cassandra! It's nice to meet you miss edalyn" she beamed. "Uh.. How'd you know my name?" Eda asked. "Your driver's license is on your floor in the living room" Cassandra explained.

Eda calmly palmed. "Damnit, also just call me eda, just uh.. Make yourselves at home" eda said, and left.

Cassandra sat on the single bed and looked at her friends. "I don't trust her," nakusa said outright, folding her arms.  "I mean come on, who does this for 3 random kids she's literally forced to keep" nakusa asked. "I don't know, but she doesn't seem evil," Cassandra said, and she kicked her feet.  "She seemed in disarray like she doesn't know what she's doing," Liam said, in his emotionless tone.   "I say we scope the area and get as much information on her as possible, nobody is this nice to orphans, she's probably scrolled every inch of our files," nakusa said, a voice full of suspicion, and anger. "Agreed, she looks like she had B plus blood type, I need it for my collection,"  Liam said, finally with a sick smirk appearing.

Cassandra looked around the room, random decorations planted in chaotic nature.   But her mindset remained.  "it's for the best"  Cassandra said.

Meanwhile, Raine had just decided to take a break. Their thoughts filled with the ginger-haired, chaotic woman who owned their heart and soul.  That's when their phone started ringing, but it was an unknown number.

"Hello? Raine whispers speaking"

"Yes I know, hello Raine"

"... Odalia-"

"Yes"

"I thought I blocked you-"

"I have 4 other cell phones, anyway, I'm throwing a high school reunion and I want you to be there"

"Ehh.. Not my style, maybe next universe"

"Look, I need all of us there"

"How come?"

"I just do! And besides I invited that orange-haired menace you hold on a pedestal"

"You invited eda?"

"Yes... I sent in a letter"

"Eda doesn't half check her mail... And even if she happened to see it, base probably threw it across a room"

"Either way, I just wanted to let you know, that it's a month from now, in New York, at our old high school auditorium"

"I think about it.."

"That's all I ask"

The call dropped and Raine sighed. "Seeing eda again could either me another heartbreak.. Or a long-needed conversation.  They'd die right now to see her but dreaded the awkwardness that would come. Maybe she'd want to see them, or she could absolutely hate their guys for leaving her. Possibly wasn't something they liked to wonder about.. But maybe it was worth it this time.

A few days later, eda started noticing a pattern. Nakusa would leave every morning, and come back in the afternoon without saying a word, and well Liam..he was either lying on the floor somewhere counting wall grooves or ceiling tiles, or looking at her like he was planning her demise.

Eda sort of expected this, and she was never one to take to authority either.  As eda was sitting down, Lilith started calling her phone. Eda sighed and laid it down to let it ring.  "aren't you going not answer that?"   Cassandra asked. Eda wondered how long this little girl had been watching her, but wasn't going not speak on it.   "Uh, no. No, I am not" eda replied."Lilith? Is that a friend? Maybe a family member?" Cassandra asked.    "Uhm..s-shes my sister" eda muttered, as the phone finally stopped ringing.   Cassandra looked at eda sympathetically. "Awh, how come you don't want to talk to her? She calls you every day" Cassandra said. Eda looked shocked, and a little creeped out. "How'd you know that?"  Eda asked. "Oh, I just had nakusa hack into your phone bill"  Cassandra explained. "Alright...totally not creepy at all.. " eda muttered to herself. "Look kid, it's really none of your business..and I really don't want to talk about it" Eda sighed. "That's alright, but you know, if she's trying this hard to reach you, she must really miss you, and I'm willing to bet, you miss her too," Cassandra said, a cheeky little smile on her face. "Kid seriously, don't.. Don't read me," eda said. "It's not reading you, it's human analytics and Psychology," Cassandra remarked. "Your 14, what the fuck do you know about Psychology?" Eda asked, in a suspicious tone.

Cassandra sat down next to eda, which is something eda hoped she wouldn't do. "More than you think, Miss Eda... If your sister is desperate enough to call you every day, she must really miss you, if you guys had a fight, don't you think you can't forgive her? Family is a precious thing, you wouldn't want to die on bad terms with her right?" Cassandra asked. Eda was shocked.    "I-.. I guess so-" eda muttered. "Maybe just see what she wants, if you don't like it, then you have every right to go no contact" Cassandra explained, then left.

Eda sighed, knowing Cassandra was right, but didn't want to admit it.   So when her phone started ringing again, she actually answered.

"Hey.. "

".. Edalyn!? .. "

"Mhm.. Hey Lilith"

"Uh.. Hi, I'm sorry, I just.. I didn't think you'd answer"

"Yeah.. So.. W-what did you want?"

"I just thought-"

"Lilith if you say anything about a damn doctor's office or my condition, I will hang up the phone right now"

"No.. Nothing like that, I just, thought we could maybe meet somewhere.. Just to catch up?"

"Alright.. But nothing about my condition"

"I-I promise"

"We Can meet at a cafe Tomorrow if you're not busy"

"Sure! Uhm yeah! That works!"

"Bye.. "

Eda hung up and sighed, laying her head down. On the table.   She groaned, wondering just how her life had just fallen Into the pile of alcohol bottles, sleepless nights, fast cash, and what the fuck else she had going on.  That's when she heard her front door opening, eda looked up and saw nakusa walk in. "Oh..hey, where've you been?" Eda asked. Nakusa looked at eda, then passed by her.   "Hey! Excuse me! You can't just ignore me!"  Eda argued. Nakusa looked at eda, then rolled her eyes.  "It's none of your business where I go" Nakusa scoffed.  "Uh.. Look I just want to make sure you're not robbing a convince store or something," eda said, hoping to be understood. "If I did, you wouldn't be suspicious about it, just because you're responsible for us, doesn't mean you get to act like some parent," nakusa said harshly

Eda wasn't sure what to say to that, so she just let nakusa go.  Nakusa left, and eda now really just wondered why nakusa had white hair. She felt herself in a corner here, was she destined to have 3 kids making her feel either stupid or incompetent?  She wouldn't know.
