a couple days past, and Vivian was at a truck dealer ship. "And how much does the 18 Wheeler cost to rent?? " she asked. "Well little lady, it's gonna cost you 1600 a day" the truck man said. Vivian then pulled out 1600 cash, and took the keys. "Pleasure doin business" Vivian said, and climbed in.
During the night, nakusa, Cassandra, and nakusa were out late at night, at the park, since Cassandra wanted to work on her astrology. Nakusa was helping her, but Liam was tired, and sleeping on eda's lap. She looked down at him, smiling, and running her fingers through his hair. "Eda look!" Cassandra beamed, and looked up. The stars were bright, and shining, then a shooting star shot by. "Oo! Eda make a wish!" Cassandra said. "Nah in good, you do it!" Eda said back. But secretly she did make a wish.
I want everything.. To just stay as it is..
While stroking Liam's hair, he slowly woke up and was staring at eda. "Hi sleepy head" eda cooed playfully, with a small chuckle. Liam's eyes widened, then he thought of the one person he cared of most.
Back when Liam was younger, he was diagnosed with his mental illness at 5,his father fully rejected him, but his mother's love for him never changed. She would take care of him all day while her husband went to work. Liam loved his mother, but due to his illness, it was a possessive, and very protective type of love. When ever his parents would fight, he'd run to her side, glaring at his father. She had a habit of russling his hair. One day, while he was sleeping, his mother had been holding him and she was the first person he saw, "good morning, sleepy head" she said in her soft voice. One day, when Liam had come from outside, he saw his father standing over his mother's lifeless body covered in blood and bruises. He had beaten her to death. Liam looked at his mother, and then his father. Liam's eyes practically turned red.
The rest of his memory after that was fuzzy, just screaming and the sound of a blade. When Liam had calmed do down, there was blood all over his house, and his father stabbed against the wall with 12 different sizes Knives. Liam hurried his mother in the backyard, and put down her favorite flowers.
As Liam continued staring at eda, his thoughts turned and he thought nto himself.
Mother the second.
"You alright there buddy? Your spacing out" eda asked. Liam nodded, and continued to let eda ran her hands through his hair. after a few more minutes eda decided they'd been out long enough, and that they should head home. "Guys come on, we're going home" eda said.
She and Liam stood up, but eda noticed that he was holding her hand. She smiled, and russled his hair.
Nakusa, and Cassandra went in front of them, running ahead. While walking eda got lost in her thoughts, wondering what else she could do to make these kids happy. "Edaa!! Hurry up!" Nakusa yelled from the other side of the road. Eda chuckled. "Go join them, il be right there" eda told Liam. He nodded sand let go of eda's hand. He ran ahead, and eda kept walking. Soon a yellow light was visable but eda wasn't paying attention, but it caught Cassandra's attention. "Oh no.. Eda watch out!!" She yelled. Nakusa and Liam and looked back, and saw eda about to get hit by a 16 Wheeler semi truck. "Eda! Move!!" Nakusa yelled. Eda looked up, and saw the truck, however she was frozen with fear. Liam, then ran twoards her and pushed eda out the way, getting hit by the Truck himself.
Liam's close to lifeless body fell on the road with a splat and crack sound. Leaving all 3 girls horiffied.

Tears filled eda's eyes, as she went over to him, and turned him over. "Liam.. Liam!?" Eda cried out. Liam's eyes we're barley open. "Liam.. Baby, keep your eyes open okay!?" Eda begged, then looked at nakusa, and Cassandra. "Call an ambulance!" She instructed. Cassandra pulled out her phone and did just that. The ambulance came, and within 7 minutes, and Liam was transported to the hospital.
A few hours passed and Liam was in critical condition. Eda was pacing back and forth, while Cassandra and nakusa were sitting on the floor next to Liam's hospital door. Pacing was a bad habit of hers, but it helped some. Soon she heard Raine call her name. "Eda!!" She looked over then felt their arms around her. Eda looked shocked, because she didn't call them. She looked over at nakusa and Cassandra, and nakusa was holding her phone. "Raine.. " she muttered, and hurried her face in their neck. "Hey.. Hey, tell me what happened" Raine said, and held her close. "L-liam.. H-he got hit by a truck" eda said, as she was trying her best not to cry. "He what!?" Raine asked in shock. Raine looked at her, then saw the blood on her shirt. "E-eda.. A-are you okay!?" They asked. "I-its not mine.. " eda whimpered. They kept her close, kissing her head softly. "Raine.. I-its all my fault.. I-i wasn't paying attention- an he-" Raine kissed her softly to shut her up. "Calamity, it's not your fault.. And I'm sure he's going to be okay" they assured her. "Actually his chances of living are 21%" Cassandra said, which got eda more upset.
Nakusa sighed. "Cass.. Remember what I said about timing?" Nakusa said. "Uh.. Yeah" Cassandra replied. "Right now was not good timing" nakusa said while shaking her head. Suddenly, a load of doctors rushed in Liam's room, and locked the door, which only worried eda more.
Meanwhile, Lilith was at home, and unfortunately taking after eda. Drinking herself into a coma, fortunately Lilith didn't drink the heavy stuff like eda, so it was just red wine. She groaned, her hair in a disarray. Lilith looked at her phone, and noticed a bunch of missed calls from her sister. Lilith rolled her eyes, drinking for wine from the bottle that already was more than half way empty. Maybe this behavior was genetic.. Maybe all clawthornes just drank their feelings awaybwehn things got to tough, because she's ashamed to admit this isn't the first time she's done this. Like the time she hadn't talked to eda for a whole year, that's turned to two, then 3..and all the way to 6. She's grateful to have her sister back, especially after their parents died.
