Raine was spiraling out of control, as they heard all the people chattering from below the stage. Maybe if they weren't so drunk that night they went to the casino, they wouldn't be in this situation.

Raine was pacing, and their clothes were now a little messy and out of sorts. "Crap, crap, crap. Eda where are you" they asked themselves. Soon they heard the familiar sounds of a ventilation system holding a human, and then the door was kicked open, and eda climbed down from it. She sighed while processing what she had just done. "WOO! Still got it!" Eda cheered praising herself. Raine looked at their ex-lover slightly amused, and very relieved. "Eda!..you have no idea how happy I am to see you," they said with a smile.
Eda looked at Raine and then cracked her knuckles. Before saying a word, eda slapped Raine across the face. "Ow!! Eda!! What was that for!?" They asked in shock. Eda grabbed Raine by their shirt, glaring at them. "That's for doubting yourself! You can do this, I know you can! You did it in middle school, you aced a performance in college! And now you're going to do great here" eda argued.
Raine cheeks turned a shade of pink, then saw eda fixing their clothes. "Jeez, you wear your clothes worse than my kids wear their school uniforms" eda scoffed.
She means nakusa and Liam.
Eda huffed, as she straightened their shirt, and adjusted their sleeves. A little hair got in Eda's view, so she blew upward to get it away, and Raine surely thought it was adorable. "See? All better, you gotta stop stressing about this.. don't you remember what I told you?" Eda asked with a mischievous tone. "That you'll never step foot in a therapist's office?" Raine teased. Eda scoffed. "Well yes, but I meant about facing your fear," Eda said, with a playful tone. "Uh.. Something about punching fears in the face?" They asked with a crooked smile. Eda giggled her own cheeks turning pink now. "No, you weirdo, I said you gotta get the jump on 'em! Give me a wack right in the face" eda said, a stern tone.
Raine chuckled. "Calamity.. That's the same thing" they said teasingly. Eda's cheeks turned crimson hearing that name again. "W-whatever.. Just fox and be great!" Eda said and pushed them away.
Raine got on the stage and then looked back at eda. She smiled a little and nodded. The crowd was dead silent, looking at Raine.
A soft piano started playing, as Raine took a soft breath. Eda seemed interested, Raine wondered what the hell she was thinking.

The soft and delicate sounds of the piano were comforting and alluring. However, so was their voice. Personally, eda never knew they could sing, she did always love new surprises though, and one could argue this was a surprise.
With simple songs, I wanted more.

She smiled softly, wondering if these long pauses were due to their stage fright. Her hips slowly swayed to the pretty melody, while Raines eyes somewhat never left her person.

The Octive went up, as did the volume. Her eyes widened with the beauty and Harmony of their voice. Her eyes sparkled, as the yellow and white light spread its radiance Across the stage, painting Raine in the perfect light. Their voice ovulating through the building, the passion and emotion in their voice. And the harmonizing they did, only added to edas amazement.
And now I hear.
A symphony.
The music faded and the crowd below clapped, and the roaring of cheers. Raine waved awkwardly and sped walked off stage. They were greeted with her smile, and they don't know what took over, but they took eda in their arms. Eda let out a playful scream and wrapped her arms around them. "Raine you jerk!! You never told me you could sing like that!" Eda said. "I sang for you plenty of times," Raine said back, keeping her body close. "Name one!" Eda argued. "When you were wasted and I knew you wouldn't remember in the morning," Raine remarked.
Eda scoffed and hugged them tight. "Raine that was beautiful! See? I told you, you could do it" Eda bragged. "Yeah yeah, you were right" Raine scoffed. After a few seconds of silence, the two realized what position they were in. "Rainstorm.. I-. I should go" she muttered. They sighed, and looked down, about to let her go. "Please don't" they whispered. "Raine.. I have to, I can't just leave my sister with my kids. " Eda sighed.
Maybe it was the realization they had to let her go again, after barely getting her back, or it could be the boost of confidence from their performance. But their grip on her waist tightened, and they pulled her in.
Eda was surprised, it was really happening, Raine was kissing her. soon her eyes fluttered closed, and she relaxed. It felt so new, yet so familiar at the same time. The way she moved, and tilted her head. The taste of her lips, the feel of her hips. She pulled back for a second, her eyes half open. "You devil.. " she murdered while catching her breath.
Raine chuckled. "So I guess our teachers were right. You are the devil's mistress" Eda giggled, then cupped their cheek, as she pressed her lips against theirs again
Their hands wandered along her curves, their hands renewing their memory of her body. She was warm and seemed a little desperate in what way she pressed her body up against them. Hearing the soft smacking sounds of their kisses, the tiny sounds she made that showed she was enjoying herself. Raine squeezed her hips, making eda moan softly against their lips, and their little reunion didn't stop there, they picked her up, holding her under her thighs.
Her body was perfect for them, she gasped when her feet left the ground, but she smiled, she truly smiled. "Raine..you still take my breath away" she whispered. "And you are just as gorgeous as you were back then" they replied, looking just below her shoulders. Eda chuckled and tilted her head up. "My eyes are up here.. Raine" she teased. "Now put me down.. " she said, and Raine obeyed graciously.
Eda looked down, her smile never fading. "maybe.. We could try again?.. I want to know what you were afraid of.." They said, holding her cheek. "I.. W-what!?" Eda blurted out. Raine looked worried, as eda pulled away. "Raine.. No! Nononononononono.." Eda muttered and stepped back. "Eda.. Wait, it's okay! We can just talk. Right? I just want to know what you afraid of" they said, holding their hand out for her.
Tears welled up in as eyes, and she hurried and ran off. Raine looked hurt and sat down with their knees folded to their chest. "Those are mixed signals.. " they muttered to themselves.
About a week later, when Lilith was working, there was a knock at her office door. "Come in!" Lilith answered, and to her surprise, odalia walked in. "Odalia? What can I do for you" Lilith asked. "I'm getting a divorce, and I need your help," odalia said bluntly. "oh-... I-i see..uhm, what would the case be under?" Lilith asked. Odalia for once sucked up her pride and said. "Infidelity"
Lilith looked at the floor awkwardly, because she already knew that, because eda told her when Darius admitted to being the affair partner. "Oh-oh uhm.. Give me a chance to look over everything, and I will get back to you" Lilith said. Odalia nodded and left silently.
Once Lilith did, she really processed what she had just done, but it didn't matter now. She decided to look through the case, and that was that.
