After seeing such a new and wonderful side of nakusa, she believes she can maybe get through to the other two as well, and see what their about. While eda was just about to leave for work, she grabbed her keys, then felt someone behind her. She turned around and saw Liam just staring at her. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Uh-.. I'm going to work, did you need something?" Eda asked. Liam tilted his head, then looked at as keys. "I just wanted to go get a new comic, but nakusa and I aren't familiar with the area," Liam said, which made eda wonder if they just jump out the damn window when they want something. "Comics huh? Well...I can't get them for you tomorrow, but you can come to work with me if you want, there's a few weird comics there, behind the bar I work at" eda explained.
Liam nodded, and eda led him out the door and into the car. While driving, Eda really hated the awkward silence, so she said "I do... Work at a nightclub, as a bartender, so make sure to stay by me, alright?"eda said. Lima nodded. Eda smiled a little. " you don't speak much do you?" She asked. Liam didn't answer, which only made eda more interested in him.
A few hours into her shift, she was pouring drinks, and adding lime slices to them. She slid the drink to the customer, then looked down at Liam who was sitting on the chair still behind the bar. Suddenly aan stumbled over to eda, which did get her attention. "H-heyy.. Uhm. Can. You.. Help... I walk t-to car?"
He asked. "Hm? Sure, I don't-" Liam grabbed Eda's hand, and shook his head. "Don't " he said firmly. Eda looked at him confused, then took this as a chance to understand him a little more. So she got down on one knee to his level. "Tell me what's up? How come you don't want me to help him to his car?" Eda asked.
Liam looked at the man and then pointed at his left hand.
Eda looked and saw he was holding a bandana. "What about it?" Eda asked. "I smell Chloroform on him," Liam said. Eda's eyes widened.
(If you don't know chloroform is a chemical to puts people to sleep and is out on clothes to kidnap people)
Eda stood up and nodded, then took out a taser, and razed the man in the chest.
Everyone was shocked but Liam was amazed. "Liam, check his pockets for me, bud" eda said, and Liam did a wallet stuffed with cash and keys to a Uhaul truck.
Eda did allow Liam to keep the cash, and then they both went outside and spotted the Uhaul truck. Eda glanced down at Liam whose facial expression hadn't changed a bit. She opened the back of the truck and was horrified to see 5 different women tied up. "Hm.. What a twist" Liam said. "Twist!? Didn't you know he had all these women!?" Eda asked. "Nope... I just smelled chloroform on him... And had a little hunch" Liam said. "You had me have him... OVER A BUNCH!?" Eda asked frantically. "Uh. yeah," Liam said, not understanding Eda's slight frustration. Eda then pulled out her phone and called the police.
As the police arrested the man, eda and Liam watched as all the women called their families and friends. Liam didn't seem too interested in any of the heartwarming reunions, but more in the way the man was being forced into a car. "Good intuition kiddo" eda said in a soft tone and Russeled Liam's hair. Liam looked up at eda taking in her smile, which reminded him of his own mother.
The dreaded month had passed, and now that eda was in communication with her sister, Lilith forced eda to go to the high school reunion with the explanation. "If I have to deal with odalia so do you"
Eda was dressed and just finished her hair and she didn't care enough to do anything else other than brush it. It's known eda isn't the best at makeup, in fact, she's not even good at hiding the deep eye bags she has from not sleeping.
Eda was struggling a little bit, and that's when she heard. "Do you need help?" Eda looked and saw Cassandra. "Oh, hey... Uhm.. Do you know how to do makeup?" Eda asked Inna sort of surprised tone.
Cassandra looked down, then sort of backed away. "Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude... I just thought you might need help" she explained in a nervous tone. "Hey no! Don't worry about it, I actually would like some help, I never cared to learn much about makeup when I was a kid" Eda said. Cassandra smiled and handed eda her eyeliner. "Here, just draw a 27.34-degree angle, and make sure to tilt your wrist" Cassandra explained. "Uh.. What?" Eda asked. "Didn't you learn about angles in school? It's pretty simple. Cassandra said. " uh.. Probably?" Eda answered.
In all honesty eda never really paid attention, her gaze was always scrolling a little too far down on a certain musician's physique that owned her thoughts all night when she should have been sleeping. "What did you do during your classes?" Cassandra asked. Eda stayed silent, she could have admitted she was thinking about every dirty way possible for Raine to handle her, or she could come up with one cheap excuse and not make things awkward. ".. S-sleeping.. Uhm, yeah, I.. Slept during class" Eda sighed.
Cassandra then took over and started to do Eda's makeup. It wasn't a long process at all and eda absolutely loved the results. "Wow, Cassie! This looks great!" Eda beamed. "Thanks! Have fun at your reunion" Cassandra said. "Oh nonononono.. You three are coming with me" eda said while walking out of her room, and grabbing her keys. "What!? I don't wanna!" Nakusa complained, "Because I don't trust you guys to not burn down my house!" Eda said, Mainly looking at nakusa.
So they all got in the car, and during the ride, eda wondered if it would be worth it to just ram her car Into another car, and die in a car crash instead of having to deal with odalia. Regardless she drove safely to the reunion and parked. "Alright guys, you can explore the school if you want, but answer your phones if I call you" eda instructed. The 3 teenagers agreed, and they entered the school.
As eda walked in, she was immediately embraced by her sister. "Edalyn! You're finally here" Lilith said. "Yeah... Miss me much?" Eda teased. "Yes actually, also did I see you bring those 3 kids here?" Lilith asked. Eda looked a little guilty. " well yes... But they not all that bad" Eda said to her Sister.
Meanwhile, Raine was talking with Darius on the other side of the room. As they looked around they spotted eda. Their breath caught, and their heart skipped a beat. "Woah.. Is that eda?" They asked. Darius looked over and saw the unmistakable red hair, and nodded. "Uh.. Yeah, why?" Darius asked. "She's.. She's beautiful" they muttered. Darius scoffed. "Aren't you the one who broke up with her?" Darius asked. Raine sighed, a wave of guilt washing over them. "Don't remind me.." They muttered. Darius smirked then looked at eda. "Hm.. Why not talk to her?" He suggested. "Absolutely not! She must hate me.." Raine sighed.
Darius scoffed, "I don't think so, I mean I don't talk to her often, but she's been single since you guys split, so that must mean something," Darius said. Raine admired eda from afar, watching her laugh with her sister but unable to hear what was so funny. They wanted to ask her... If she even cared while they were dating, why her reaction to their breakup was so emotionless?
They could risk it all and name everything awkward, or they could stay quiet and admire her from afar
