Lilith looked at eda, who had continued her pacing, then sighed. "Edalyn, sit down" she said in an calm tone. Before eda could even refuse the doctor came out. "Uhm.. Edalyn clawthorne?" The doctor asked. "Y-yes! Is Liam okay?" Eda asked frantically. "Ah yes, Liam tamayo, it's a miracle, but he's alive, but does have 4 broken ribs, both legs are broken and a broken arm, and a concussion" the doctor explained. "As long as he's.. Alive I guess" eda muttered. "Yes yes, you may all go see him" the doctor said.
Liam was not happy about being in a hospital, but he tolerated it. "Liam! H-hey buddy, are you okay?" Eda asked, Inna worried tone. "No. Because I'm still alive" he said, which made eda chuckle. Lilith did look disturbed by that statement. "Wow Liam, you got lucky, last time I got hit by a train" nakusa said. Hearing this, eda's eyes widened. "WHAT!?" Eda blurred out "yeah, nakusa for hit by a train 3 years ago" Cassandra said. Eda covered her face, feeling like a failure. "Did mother the second get hurt" Liam asked. Eda looked at Liam shocked, then at her sister who was smirking at her. "Oh, you mean eda?" Nakusa asked, Liam nodded. "Uhh.. No she's fine.. Physically at least" Cassandra said. Eda almost started crying, and leaned on her sister. Lilith chuckled, smiling softly. "Okay, Il start making you some medicine" Cassandra said, then she and nakusa left the room, right as Raine entered. "Uh, whispers, this is yours" Lilith said, gesturing to eda. "Is she okay?" Raine asked, and took eda in their arms. "Yes, just a little emotional" Lilith answered.
Raine kissed her head a few times, when a doctor came in. "Alright, so I have antibiotics for the patient" the doctor said. "Is it some kind of pain killer?" Eda asked. "Yes, it is, but since he's a minor I do need your, permission" the doctor said, and handed eda pen, and a permission slip on a clip board. Eda was about to sign it, then looked at liam who shook his head. Eda put the pen down, and gave it back to the doctor. "Don't give him anything" she said, which earned her a few weird looks "if your sure" he said, and left.
She felt raines arms wrapped around her waist, then a small kiss on her shoulder. She sighed, and it reminded her of the conversation they had a couple days ago.
Raine knew eda wasn't in the best condition, so they had come to comfort her as she fought back tears. They told her countless times that it was okay for her to cry, but she didn't. She was leaning on her dresser, her head hanging low to avoid her own gaze in the mirror. Their arms wrapped around her waist, and she felt their soft kisses on her shoulder. They figured it might make her feel a little better, or smile at the very least. Eda let out a small sigh, then a breathy chuckle. "Not everything can be solved with a few kisses and your hands on me" she whispered jokingly. "I disagree, I got you to smile, did i not?" they responded in the same tone of voice. "It's not your fault..dont blame yourself" they said to her, pressing a few more kisses on her shoulder. Eda took their hand, gliding it over the slide of her thigh. they looked suprised, then made her turn around. "Rainestorm.. " eda muttered, her cheeks slowly turning pink. "Hang tight, mamas" they cooed, and pulled her closer, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss. Eda's eyes fluttered closed, a satisfied hum was heard as she smiled. She let one of her arms hang over their shoulder, while the other raked through their hair. They pulled back and looked in her eyes. "Your beautiful" was all they could get out. She smiled, pulling them back in. Their grip on her hips Tightened, while letting her inside their mouth. They heard her little giggled, as their kisses got more intense. "Whispers, you absolute devil~" eda teased, getting a few more kisses from Raine. She then felt their other hand slowly run down her thigh, then between her legs. Eda gasped, then slowly moved their hand away. "D-dont.. " she muttered nervously. Raine looked worried, and loosened their grip. "Are you okay?" They asked. "Yes, Yeah.. "Thank you.. For telling me the truth" they said, with lure admiration in their eyes. Eda nodded, and got another kiss on her neck. "I.. I'm trying to work on it, especially since I'd fall asleep, and you know how that would go" eda said, in a small chuckle. "Sweetheart.. You just come to me when your ready, alright?" They asked. "Yeah.. I will" eda agreed. She did it, she told them the truth, without some little white lie in the middle. She was getting better. She was being better for them. Her future with them, in their arms, with her kids.
Eda felt her neck where she had used makeup to hide the small hickey on her neck. Then feeling Raines hand slide into her back pocket. Eda smiled, then noticed her sister smirking at her. Eda blushed, then rolled her eyes. "Eda" Liam said, immediately grabbing her attention. "Yeah? What's up buddy?" Eda asked. "Im sleepy now, go away" he muttered. He didn't mean any harm by it, but the way his mind was wired, he's just blunt with what he wants. "Of course, goodnight, il come see you tomorrow" eda agreed, and all three adults left the room. "Il call you tomorrow edalyn" Lilith said, before leaving the hospital. "You want me to walk you home, calamity?" Raine asked, holding her close. "I'm a big girl, I can handle myself.. I can get home on my own, but il call you when I get there, kay?" Eda asked. Raine agreed, and felt eda kiss their cheek.
As eda was walking home, the night was peaceful. The streetlight, aluminating the streets, as a few cars passed by. While eda was walking, a cool breeze hit, and one of Liam's hospital documents flew out her hand, and into an ally way. Eda smacked her lips, then went to get the papers, as she grabbed it, and folded it, and stuck it in her pocket, the sound of a gun cocking was beard right next to her ear.
