During what most call the witching hour so about 2 am, alador and Darius flopped down on the bed, after finishing their 4th round of sex. They weren't stupid, they were at Darius's house, and odalia had to leave for a meeting 3 states away. "Holy shit... I think I'm done after that" Darius gasped. Alador was catching his breath and sat up a bit. Darius looked at him, then asked. "Do you ever feel guilty for cheating on odalia?" Alador looked down, then at Darius. "Sort of.. I mean it might kill her if she ever finds out, but by God is she insufferable" alador sighed, making Darius chuckle. "She lectures me for an hour about the oil on my coat...and has our kids stuffed in so many activities" alador vented. "Although Amity has a new friend, I think her name is loose. Loop?.. Luz! Her name is Luz" alador said. Darius started snickering at his partner's struggle.
Darius then sat up and thought about the reunion. "Did you talk to eda any time before the reunion?? " Darius asked. "Uhhhhhh.. Maybe? I'm not sure" alador said. Darius sighed. "Then how'd she know? There's absolutely no way she could just guess such a thing" Darius said. "Edalyn was always socially knowledgeable" alador replied. "Do you think she knows it's with me?" Darius asked. "Uhhhhhhhhh... I don't know" alador said. Darius scoffed. "She probably would have outed me then if she knew... " Darius said to himself.
Darius looked over at alador, who was staring at a moth hitting the window. Darius let out a breathy chuckle, then thought of eda. She and Raine... That's what Darius thought of as the perfect couple couldn't understand why the hell Raine would break up with her. He could tell eda wasn't doing well either, as he went through something similar when alador first got married. He wondered what dark secret she had, why she was so closed off, what's funny is all her friends wondered the same thing.

The clock struck 6 am, and Cassandra woke up feeling a lot better. She held her head and realized nakusa and Liam was still asleep. Then she heard quiet sobbing and whining. Cassandra looked worried, then finally found eda on the floor in the living room. "Eda?" Cassandra asked, upon seeing eda on the ground. Eda was trembling, tossing, and turning, a constant stream of tears flowing down her cheeks, wetting up her shirt. "Stop... No..please stop" eda whined. "Eda? Are you okay?" Cassandra asked, no answer, just constant whining and begging. Cassandra then tried to shake eda awake but was pushed away and she lost her balance and fell.
Cassandra looked shocked, then noticed that somehow eda was asleep. Cassandra stayed back but wondered why eda was going through this. So Cassandra decided to tell nakusa and Liam, but that would come later.
Later on in the day, Lilith was working on a new case. She was currently going through the evidence provided when Darius walked in. "Hey Lilith, new case?" He asked. "Yes, it's a pretty nasty one" Lilith sighed. "Oh really? What kind" Darius asked. "Divorce," Lilith said damnn" Darius chuckled. "That's not funny, this woman sounded really desperate and apparently has been too afraid of her wife to do anything until now" Lilith scolded. "I don't know, sounds like a lifetime movie" Darius replied. Lilith rolled her eyes. "Either way it's not funny," Lilith said. "Whatever you say" Darius replied, grabbed a few files, and left again.
As Darius left, he looked through them. The files were the ones alador had asked him to find some way to divorce odalia without too many Repercussions. The length of their relationship and the fact they had kids wasn't going to make it easy. To Darius this was more than just a chance to hook up with alador without consequences, but may I chance at a relationship. He wondered if this is how eda felt, being in love with someone so close to her out of reach. She vented to him about her break up with Raine when she had gotten wasted and he just happened to be at the same bar as her. The total heartache and regret she described to him really made him realize he had to do this carefully.
However he wondered how the hell eda held herself together, he was barely making it, and often found himself in tears when he got home.
