The fire crackles and cast's flames silhouetted against a perfect night sky. All the Gladers are either talking or watching Gally, who I have figured out to be the Keeper of the Builders, fight another Glader.
"Hey Greenbean!"
I turn to see Marcus who is smiling at me.
"What's with the smile?" I ask as I advance towards him.
"Your reaction every time I call you Greenbean is just funny."
"What are you on about?"
"Well you tend to look annoyed then happy."
"Maybe that's because it sounds stupid. I mean have you called any of the other's 'Greenbean'?"
"No. just you Greenbean."
"You're a jerk."
"To bad. I may consider dropping it when you regain your name."
"Highly unlikely."
Yep."
I start to laugh and then Marcus join's in.
"You fought Gally yet, Greenbean?" Marcus ask's when he can breathe again.
"Nope."
"Are you going to?"
"Nope."
"Come on."
"Nope."
"Please."
"Nope."
"Dou you only say 'nope'?'
"Nope."
My continuous use of the word 'nope' cause's us to enter another fit of laughter.
