The woman take me into another stark room. Only this on has a wooden desk and chair. The woman motions for me to sit then leaves.
After a while she comes back. With her is a tray carrying a plate of food and a cup of water.
"Here." She places the tray in front of me.
I don't touch the food. "Where am I?"
"You have been extracted from the Maze Trails for a reason." The woman turns to the door.
"Why?" I ask.
"All in good time. You can eat, I haven't poisoned it."
With that she leaves, and I pick at the food. Eventually hinger takes over and I devour the plate.
Suddenly, everything is hazy, and I pass out.
When I wake, I'm strapped to a chair. I look around and see a couple of people in grey suits. They notice me and one moves over to me.
"Its going to be okay." The woman from earlier says.
"You tricked me."
She nods and places something on my head. "Its time." She walks back over to her partner. "Just breathe Marcus."
The other person flicks a switch. "Wipe in five..."
Confused I sit there. Then the memories came back in flood. The Galde. The Maze. Newt.
"Four..."
I try to picture his face in my mind. Holding onto it.
"Three..."
The happiness. The memories. Good and bad.
"Two..."
Everything goes hazy.
"One."
I'm sorry Greenbean.
"Wipe complete."
Then the darkness task over.
