THREE WEEKS LATER

Walls stand wide and revolving. Ivy and vines cover the cobble and stone. Paths, some dirt, some pavement. Either way the path never end. Continuous nothing and repetition. The perfect place to lose yourself in your thoughts.

This is good for some. But not for me. I don't know. The same thoughts that haunted Marcus not long ago now threaten my mind.

"So, the Greenie around?" I ask as I walk next to Marcus.

"Yeah. After we grab our dinner, I'll take you over to see him." Marcus grabs two plates and hands me one.

"Thanks." I look up at Frypan as he loads beans and potatoes onto my plate. "Are you going to join us?"

"Yeah. Just let me feed these shanks." Fry points a ladle at the growing line or Gladers.

"Alright, come on Marcus."

Together, Marcus and I walk over to where Gally is talking with the new Greenie.
