the room goes silent
althtough peoples lips are moving
the world starts moving slow
as a lump begins to form in your throat
your heart rate emerges
then your hands start to shake
and its starting to get hard to breath
so you freeze
your eyes fall shut, as you find yourself making your way outside
as your hands cover your face
while you are gasping for air
trying to breath but not being able to
"breath"
"you're safe"
someone tells you
as they hug you tight
your breathing becomes faster and harder as your trying to catch it
the person keeps repeating those words
over and over and over again
soon, it starts getting easier to breath
and suddenly you start to feel more grounded, more alive
and you can finally breath
the world isn't silent anymore, nor in slow motion
"you're safe"
you tell yourself multiple times
"you're safe"
