( Tighnari POV: )

Tighnari walks back to his dorm, its about 19:40. (Or 7:40 pm) He hears a crash in the alley beside him, and his tail goes back, his ears go still, and he freezes. He hides behind the wall, and softly prays no one is there. A small knife falls to his feet, and he hears a feminine voice cursing.

'H-Hello...?' - Tighnari peeks from behind the wall, and the person in the hoodie, that dropped the knife freezes. Tighnari freezes also, and his ears go back, as he starts to back away. He then throws the knife at the person's feet and starts running. He runs behind a dumpster, and covers his mouth, terrified out of his fur almost. The feminine voice curses again, but walks after him. They look around, and then walk over to Tighnari. Tighnari's eyes widen, and he looks away, expecting the worst.

'The fuck? why are you hiding. You're not even a target.' - The person kneels, and looks at Tighnari

Fully black eyes stare down at him, and he feels a bit better, knowing that they wont hurt him, even if the eyes are a bit off-setting.
'C'mon kid. I think the boss would like to see you.' - She takes off her hood, showing, long purple hair that glows at the bottom. Her hands are a shade of dark, musty grey brown that fade to normal at the elbows, with moons all over it, and a glowing white pentagram on the very middle.

Tighnari thinks she looks odd, but he follows her, knowing she would drag him if he didn't.
'Where are you taking me...?'
'You'll see' - Tighnari finds her soft, mildly echoing voice very soothing.

He follows her to a mountain, and at the bottom he looks at her, and raises an eyebrow, but she shushes him, and walks over to a tree. She seems to tap the tree a few times, and then a door opens at the entrance of the mountain. A gunner walks up to them, but the woman waves him off, and the gunner nods, and lets them through.

Tighnari follows her yet again, his tail tucked between his legs in fear of what's about to happen. They walk into a large room, and a tall, quite muscular guy is talking to what looks to be another assassin, but Tighnari doesn't know who, since they are wearing a mask.

'Boss, Cyno. I brought someone i think you know.'

Cyno. CYNO IS THAT ASSASSIN. wait... that means.
Tighnari takes a few steps back, and the woman raises an eyebrow, Cyno also clenches his fists, and looks away.
'You-'
'I suppose this is awkward. Come along'

The boss gestures for the woman to follow him, and she nods, and the boss walks off. The woman walks over to Tighnari 'look, I know he probably should have told ya sooner, but you gonna cut him some slack. he was tryin to keep ya safe after all. He really cares about you. Ill leave you two alone though.' - She walks away, following the boss, and silence echoes through the room as she closes the door.

'Nari-'
'Cyno-'

They both pause, and Tighnari takes a few steps torwards Cyno.
'I guess this is why you're so strong...'
Cyno pauses, and nods a bit at Tighnari's statement, but stays silent.

'I wish you would've told me.'
'I'm sorry..my life was going in circles with Razor almost getting hurt-'

Tighnari cuts him off by wrapping him in a tight hug. Cyno is stunned for a moment, but hugs him back. He repeats 'I'm sorry..' for what seems an eternity.
'Its okay. I don't blame you. I just wish you would be less mysterious.'
Even if it is kinda hot... UGH-

'Yeah... I should lighten up a little.'
'I was worried you didn't want to talk with me, with how you avoided me.'
'I'm sorry...'
'Will you stop saying that? I know you're sorry. And I don't care. You are my friend, and I want you to be happy. I will sell my soul for that.'
'Don't say that in here.'
'Why?'
'Don't worry about it...'

Tighnari pauses. Cyno is quite close to him, but he knows this would be an awkward as all hell place. 'Do you..live here?'
'Nah. this is just a base.'
'Huh.'
'mhm.'
'Who is the lady with the black eyes?'
'Who?'
'Purple hair, soft as fuck voice?'
'Oh. That's Kuni.'
'Reminds me of Sacra.'
'Yea.'
'She looks older than him'
'She is, by a lot.'

Tighnari leans his head on Cyno's shoulder.
'About the party last night...'
'What about it?'
'You know-'
'Me kissing you?'
'Don't say that in here! have you any shame Cyno?'
'No I do not.'
'Goofball.'

Cyno laughs, and Tighnari smiles, happy to improve the mood.
'But still, you kissed me.'
'And?'
'I liked it.'
'I did too.'
'WHAT?!'
'I said that, didn't I?'
'No!'
'Huh. Well I liked it.'

'What's this about Cyno kissing somebody?' - Kuni peeks through the door.
'WERE YOU LISTENING THIS WHOLE THING!?' - Cyno seems actually flustered now.
'No, just then. I do give you privacy.'
'Ugh...'
'Well if you two do finally become a thing, don't say I didn't tell you so~' - She walks out, and Cyno yells after her, taking off his mask, to show those eyes that made Tighnari fall for him.

'KUNI! Ugh...'
'At least she's nice...?'
'I guess...'
'Does she usually pick on you?'
'She picks on all of us, she's a mother figure to us all. Most of us don't have a mom, so she kinda fills in that space.'
'That's sweet!'
'It is, isn't it. Some of us, including me, call her ma.'
'That's adorable Cyno.'
'Whatever. Now, are you okay? did they hurt you at all?'
'No, I'm fine.'
'If you say so'

Cyno walks torwards the door, and Tighnari follows, speed walking to keep up with Cyno's long stride.

...They head back to Tighnari's dorm, where Hu Tao is still asleep...

'Thanks Cyno.'
'No problem, just tell me if you need something'
'Of course-'

Cyno gives him a soft kiss on the cheek, then walks away, waving.

Holy shit...
And I thought I couldn't fall for this man any harder...
