Chapter 22: Arya

Celia's POV

Kate and I did a sleepover, we watched a few movies to try and keep me distracted, and it worked, more or less. Goose must have felt something, because he stayed on my lap the whole time.

And I don't know what happened to me yesterday to faint like that, I don't think I have ever fainted actually. But the fact that I hurt him that much that he has lost his arm... I want to talk with him. This morning, before Kate woke up, I called Page and we talked about that. His contact, whose name is Alvaro Fernández, said he's got a meeting with him tomorrow. At first he was reductant, but, apparently, Alvaro is very charming and he accepted to talk with him. Also, my father is okay, more or less. He has injuries, but nothing too serious, thank god. Since he is almost all the time locked in those isolation cells, they can't hurt him He must feel so lonely in there...

I asked Page about demanding him for hurting my father and not leting him contact with his relatives, but technically, he didn't do anything to him, the other prisioners did. And he didn't recieve the letters or calls for being considered a harm prisioner so... It's like nothing ilegal happened in there.

They will meet at 21:00, apparently that's the only time he had free... Busy man, I guess, so that is 15:00 in here. Honestly, I don't know what the hell I'm gonna tell him, and that if he accepts to speak with me.

I also texted back Scarlett, I totally forgot to answer her back and she was really worried about it, I'll make it up to her today with Rose. Since it's Tuesday and Rose has school tomorrow, we can't do anything too fancy, but I think they will like my idea. I'll have to check it on Rose first though, because this is a surprise for her mother.

I spent part of the morning in my office, with a very stressed out Pedro and with the rest of the new employees. It's still strange to see more people in here. Everything is going amazingly well. Things are working for us, for Kate and me, and I couldn't be happier.

After going for lunch with Scarlett, Kate Foster and some others from the Outset, we came back to the office to sort some things out. I was totally inmersed in my laptop when I heard small footsteps approaching me. I looked up and moved the laptop fast enough so Rose could jump on my lap.

"Hello there princess, how are you doing?" I asked her giving her a kiss on the top of her head.

"I am great, ready for our adventure!!"

"That's what I wanted to hear, I have an idea about that"

I started to whisper her my plan, Scarlett was looking at us with a warm smile.

"Hey, I also want to know the plan!"

"No, mommy, this a surprise Celia and I are preparing. So sush and stay far away from us"

I tried to hold my laugh at an ofended Scarlett who was also trying not smile, but did an amazing work at hiding it. She is an actress after all, so Rose was convinced enough and we continued with our plan.

"But I also want to know, please" She pouted, but it wasn't enough. Rose and I looked at each other and we shook our heads at the same time.

"Nope, not happening, and stop acting! You are also enjoying this!" I said. Rose jumped off my lap and went running to the elevator. I went next to Scarlett and passed my arm around her waist, being careful that Rose wasn't looking at us.

"You are going to love it" I whispered to her, giving her a kiss on the top of her head.

"You look so adorable with Rose, I love it" I smiled at her and I found myself lost on her eyes, once again.

"Come on! There is no time to lose!!!"

"Yes ma'am!!" I yelled to Rose, so we followed her into the elevator.
