Chapter 24: Nightmares

Celia's POV

I turned around after the elevator's doors closed to find Kate smirking at me, so I just passed her, but I Heard her footsteps behind me.

"Sooo, you sort everything out" She said, closing the door of my office.

"Yep. We talked, we yelled, almost cried, but everything ended up being good"

"You know, I am a bit disappointed with you." I frowned and looked at her.

"What do you mean?"
"I really thought you were going to punch Colin's face, god that would have been hilarious. Breaking that shark face of his, I would have paid a lot. And I'm sure Scarlett too." I chuckled and opened my laptop, my leg bouncing up and down. I should recieve new from Page soon about that call with Gonzalo. It wasn't until Kate hugged from behind that I abandoned my trance.

"You are tense, Darling, tell me, what is going on in your mind?" She started to give me a massage all over my neck and shoulders, and damn it felt good.

"Oh god Kate, you are amazing at this" I said closing my eyes.

"Can I join?" I opened my eyes to find Pedro smirking at us. Kate continued with her task and I closed my eyes again.

"Nope, we are having a girl talk here, so shut up and get out" Kate replied, making me laugh.

"I just wanted to tell you that the presentation for the product has been delayed... Thank god." I sighed, relieved, I hope that this means he will stop being rude with everyone except Kate all day.

"How does that thing work?" I asked with my eyes still closed. Kate continued what she was doing, I didn't know I was this tense until she started to do this magic. Maybe she chose the wrong career here.

"I thought you would know since you are working with The Outset..." I Heard his voice closer now, he must have sat on the chair in front of me, but I was too relaxed to even look.

"The only thing I know is that a few brands present a new product, the one that ones will have the opportunity to work with Douglas, right?"

"Exactly. They study all the components of the products, but also the originality of them. I mean, if they all present a serum or a night cream, but there is one that makes something different, that gives them a lot of points. We present them, they study all this for a couple weeks, and then they decide the winner"

"And you, on your own, must find that product for Elizabeth Arden? Seriously?" Kate asked and, she had a point there. I mean, that Brand is good and important.

"Yeah well... That is my fault... The group they chose for it a few months ago, which I was in, was a disaster. We didn't work good together, also many of them were stupid and didn't know anything about how to find THE product. So I told my boss that I could do it in my own."

"And when is the presentation?"

"It was going to be in a few weeks, a bit more than a month, but now it will be in a couple months, so I have time to decide the idea and give the laboratory enough time to create it." I nodded and didn't ask anything else. Honestly, I don't know how the hell he plans to do that that fast but, that's none of my bussiness.

Kate and him talked a few more things about it and then he left. I tried to concentrate in how good I was feeling, but I started to spiral again. Now that everyone knows about Scarlett's divorce, they will pay more attention to us. What if we are with Rose and the start to follow us? Or Kate... I sighed, but before I could say anything, my phone rang. I took it fastly and Kate came next to me, trying to hear the conversation too.

"Hello, Miss Santos" The deep voice of Mr. Page sounded relaxed, I don't know what thad's supposed to mean.

"Hello Mr. Page, how did it go?"
