Wrong place, right time?

Chapter 21

No one's POV:

Jacob was sat with Spinner and Twice, just listening to whatever the two of them were talking about whilst he sat back relaxed. Knowing that at least one of the young girls the villains have brainwashed are safe.

Jacob yawned and opened his eyes to see why everyone had suddenly gone silent, it was Kurogiri. Looking angry somehow. And storming over to- oh shit.

Before Jacob could even process what was happening kurogiri had grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, lifting him so he was dangling in the air. "You bastard" he growled at Jacob. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't warp your upper body then close it- splitting your narc ass in half"

The entire room was silent. Apart from Jacob's grunts of course. That's when the dear old young master walked in looking confused as ever. "Anyone wanna tell me what's going on?" He asks gruffly, obviously not in the mood for this. "Well?" He asks, raising his voice a little. Jacob tries to reply but I quickly cut off by kurogiri.

"He is a narc. He is why my baby is missing. HE is a danger to us" the misty figure hisses. Shigaraki's face changed from a mild annoyed one to rage. "WHAT" the room became even more tense than before and a few people even sighed, knowing how easily this could go wrong. However the situation quickly diffused when they heard the soft patter of small feet.

Cho ran out and hugged Kurogiri's waist sniffling, the room was tense again, at the thought of why she could be crying. However being the big mama bear he is, kurogiri instantly dropped 'Jacob' and picked up Cho, gently rocking and shushing her. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" He asks knowing he probably won't get a reply. Thankfully she manages to sign a quick 'teddy' and 'blankie'. "You want your blanket and teddy?" He asks softly. Cho nods and sniffles as she whispers to him, "left...where..took me.." her voice still hoarse as she is so unused to talking.

"I see.." kurogiri hums a little annoyed but tried his best to hide it from his baby. "...Jacob. I suggest you tell me the location of this safe house so I can retrieve my darling's items before I do something I will regret in front of her" he says whilst narrowing his yellow misty eyes.

Every single member of the LOV was death glaring him and Shigaraki was barely holding back to not dust him right then and there. In a defeated tone he said the location, feeling bad for Cho sobbing in the nomu's arms. "Hold her for a moment" Kurogiri says whilst handing her off to Magne, the only other person he would trust Cho to be with.

The both of them kind of just look at each other confused for a moment before Cho continues to sniffle as she hugs Magne, trying to calm herself down after everything.

Shigaraki on the other hand was mumbling with Dabi about what to do with him when out of nowhere someone enters the room and touches 'Jacob's forehead and he falls to the ground.

Everyone was baffled and the same person picks him up and exits the bar. "What just....happened?" Dabi mumbles, breaking the silence. Just as Kurogiri appears out of his warp with the other stuffie that was bundled up in the large fluffy blanket. "Where is he?" The nomu hisses angrily as he rushes over and gently picks Cho up. Wrapping her up in the blanket, ensuring she had both the shark stuffie and the bat stuffie with her as she started to fall asleep from crying so much.

"I uh..." Shigaraki starts then Dabi finished his sentence for him, "some rando came in, touched its forehead and then took him away" Kurogiri squints his eyes for a moment before sighing, "I will consult with master about where we shall go from here" He then looks down at Cho who was now sleeping soundly in his arms and sighs, "after I've put her to bed"

With that the misty nomu starts walking down the hall and everyone lets out a breath they didn't even realise they were holding. "Remind me to never even make Cho shed a tear" spinner says as he shivers. Silently, everyone agrees with the reptilian member and nods their heads. All unanimously agreeing to also keep an eye on her if Kurogiri wasn't around just so this wouldn't happen again.
