No one's POV:

Cho had seen a change in kurogiri. It wasn't obvious, especially when she was in a smaller headspace, but today she was in a bigger headspace and was starting to notice some differences since last time. They were bad. Just..odd?

Like he was still him but also someone else, someone much more human. He was still kind though so Cho chose not to comment on it and continued to do her simple maths questions in her book that she was handed to keep her busy.

——

"She's definitely noticed" kurogiri sighed to Magne who simply raised a brow as if to say so what. "She hasn't commented on it or gotten mad so what's the problem? Maybe when she's in a big headspace like she is now you could explain it. Alternatively you could wait till you're..you know...poof..to explain to her what you know and don't. Do some self exploring together and whatnot" she shrugged with a casual smile and soft chuckle.

Her words bore weight and truth to them, the misty man couldn't refute her words. He simply sighed and nodded- not that anyone could really tell. "Perhaps I should..." he paused for a moment before his yellow eyes squinted, "could you acquire me a phone..and find out contact information for UA?"

Magne sighed and played with the rim of her teacup. "A phone yes. Contact info..I have someone I can call up. You're paying me back" she huffed but there was no heat behind her words. The tea cup soon emptied and maybe left the bar to do what was so kindly asked of her.

——

Unknown: could you home a villain and a child?

Aizawa stared at his phone in confusion, thousands of questions swirling around his mind as he tried to make sense of the text message and decipher who it was from, or if it was a joke.

It didn't take long for Yamada to see his partner brooding on the couch with bastard chewing on his hair like the feline always does. "What's wrong?" He asks as he walked over and looked over Aizawa's shoulder. The blonde read the message once, then twice, then one more time. "That's...odd."

"Strange things have been happening a lot lately it seems" Aizawa murmured. "Should I reply or wait for the rat?" He asked, more to himself than his partner. Perhaps it was against his better judgement but in the end he decided to reply.

Aizawa: who is this? Is this a prank?

.....

Unknown: it is no joke. I am a known villain. I wish to leave. I cannot leave on my own accord. I need help. My daughter needs it too.

Aizawa was truly stumped now. A known villain was stuck in that life for some reason, with a child, and wanted to leave but couldn't. How could he help? He didn't understand. He looked back at his partner who's brows were furrowed and lips pursed as he pressed his fingers to his lips. "...it's not unheard of..someone trying to leave a life of villainy but can't but..with a kid too? I also want to know why they're stuck"

Aizawa: why can't you leave by your own accord other than the fact that the police and hero's would be after you?

Unknown:...

Unknown: I am controlled and monitored. I should not be able to betray my masters like this.

That made Aizawa feel on edge, a pit forms in his throat and stomach. He didn't like the sound of that. Masters? Controlled? Monitored?

If this person wanted out it could be much harder than he could imagine and he's unsure if this is something he can involve himself in or do alone. "...I..I don't know.." the tired teacher admitted softly and his partner quickly brushed back his hair and kissed the top of his head. "I think it's now time to involve the 'rat' as you call him"

———

"What a peculiar situation you have found yourself in my dear pup!" Nezu chirped as he clasped his paws together. His nose twitched as he thought, "...I believe there is more to this- and if his information is correct and he has a 'master' they could be an even higher rank villain...we could remove them from the equation and take down the masters and bring them in.."

Nezu nodded to himself and smiled, the way that always made Aizawa uncomfortable, then tapped aizawa's phone with his paw. "Let's involve the detective and a few other hero's and talk to some informants. I want this sorted before Christmas break" the rodent said firmly before sitting back and taking a relaxed sip of tea.

Aizawa sighed and grabbed his phone. Looks like he had to make some calls and set up a meeting. More work on top of his many duties...yipee..
