"i'm sending it over to your office now. yes. thank you so much, Vanessa. bye now." Makenna huffed, as she hung up the phone. "was that the last of them?" Tony asked, looking to his daughter. "yeah." she nodded, flopping back onto the couch in his office.

that was six months ago.

"Makenna?" Jasmine asked, over the intercom in the girl room. "yes?" she replied. "Mr. Stark is requesting your presence on the landing pad." she announced.

the girl teleported outside next to her father. "what're we looking at?" she questioned, looking up to the sky, like Tony was doing. "just wait." he instructed, still looking up.

then there was a roar that came from the clouds.

Makenna knew exactly what it was.

"no." she gasped in disbelief, "no way!" she yelled as the jet got closer. "their home!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms up in the air.

as the jet got closer she could see Steve in the pilot seat. the girl just waved her arms and jumped up and down. she could not contain her excitement no matter how much she tried.

they worked for six months. six. long. months. to get them home and here they were, pulling into the landing strip outside of the compound.

the jet landed, the door opened, and everyone came swarming out. the girl ran up to the first person she saw.

which was Clint. she hugged him and he swung her around in circles. Clint kissed the girl head, before putting her back down.

when he put her down, she ran over to Wanda. "hey." Wanda whispered. "hey." Makenna smiled, "you okay?" "yeah." Wanda nodded.

then she saw Sam. she let go of Wanda and ran over to Sam. "what's up, Ken?" he muttered, running a hand through her hair. "nothing." she sniffled, and it dawned on her that she was crying.

when she let go of Sam, she looked up to see Steve. she jumped into Steve's arms and wrapped her leg around his torso, letting her prosthetic hang.

"Kenna." Steve muttered, as the girl cried. "i never stopped fighting." the girl sobbed. "i know you didn't. you did a good job." Steve reassured the girl. "i'm so happy you're home." she smiled, with tears in her eyes. "we're happy to be home." Steve replied, rubbing the girls back

when he put her down, the girl wiped her tears and then noticed the ex-assassin standing towards the back. she just smiled and nodded at him, causing him to nod back.

. . .

a little while later, Makenna sat on the couch of her and Steve's floor, reading. as music played through her hearing aids.

the lights in the living room flicked, the girl paused her music and looked over to the source.

Steve. of course.

"hey." Makenna smiled, noticing Bucky standing at his side. "hey." Steve smiled, coming over and sitting next to the girl.

"Bucky can stay on our floor, right?" "of course." Makenna nodded, watching as the man carefully sat down on the opposite end of the couch.

"see, Buck, i told you." Steve smirked. "i just wanted to make sure it was alright." Bucky shrugged. "thank you." he said, looking to Makenna. "yeah."

the elevator door opened and Makenna turned around to see Peter.

"what's up, Peter?" Makenna asked, as the teen threw his backpack down onto the kitchen table. "i messed up my suit." he revealed, walking over with his suit.
