Later that day Donner and Brad met back up at the station. As they pulled into the parking lot it was obvious that things had quieted down somewhat. They got out of their car's and walked to the front door of the station and walked in. Connie, as usual, was setting at the front desk and greeted them, “Afternoon boy's.” Brad smiled and nodded. Donner smiled and said, “Afternoon to you too and how are things? Looks like it's quieted down.” Connie smiled and gave a huge sigh then said, “Yes it has and about darn time too. Why is it some people have to be so darn stupid sometimes?” Donner knew it was not a question that needed answering and said, “Did Tally finely get to go home?” Connie nodded and added, “About an hour ago.” Donner replied, “Good. Brad and I will be in my office if you need anything.” Connie nodded and watched them walk to Donner's office and shut the door.

As soon as Brad shut the door Donner asked, “Please tell me you got something?” Brad smiled a toothy smile and said, “Yup, got the transaction and the lady that rang Tessa up and a cart boy that saw Heather and her car.” Donner smiled back at Brad and said, “Thank God and good job Brad. I talked to the DA and then got another warrant from Judge Thomas to search Heather's room, computer, phone records and her car. Also talked to the fire chief again and told him to go over everything again on the truck fire and my house fire. By George I think we're going to get her.” At that point Connie knocked on the door. Donner waved her in. “I got a Miss Coleen Jacobs on line 2, say's it's real important that she speak to you.” Donner said, “Thank you.” and waited till the door was shut before picking up the phone.

“This is Detective Donner, how can I help you Miss Jacobs?” Donner heard breathing on the other end of the phone and waited a few seconds. Finely, “I read in the paper about the fire's and about Heather Shilling's being a suspect in them. I really don't want to get involved but I remember her from a few years back.” Donner asked, “Miss Jacobs, how do you remember her exactly?” Coleen Jacobs took another deep sigh and said, “I really don't want to talk about on the phone or if I want to talk about it at all, for that matter.” “Miss Jacobs I can come to you if that makes you feel better and you can be an anonymous source, your name never has to be mentioned.” Donner waited a few seconds before she finely answered, “Okay.” She then gave him her address and promised him she would be there when he came. Donner hung up the phone and looked at Brad, “You in for a trip?” Brad replied, “Anything if it means we're going get Heather Shilling's.”

Donner and Brad walked out of Donner's office, stopped by the front desk to let Connie know where they were headed and then left. On the way out of town Donner called Andrea to tell her where he was going and approximately what time he would be back as Brad did the same with Kate. Simultaneously they hung up their phones, glanced at each other, shook their heads and gave a chuckle. Brad spoke first, “So who is this Coleen Jacobs?” Donner replied, “Only thing I know is her name and that she lives in Bangor. Connie is supposed to call later with any info she can pick up on her. Other then that, we're going in blind.” Brad swore, “Shit, I hate going in blind.” Donner nodded. Bangor was a 7 hour drive from Bay Heights and Donner hoped that it would be worth it.

Heather laid across her bed and flicked the lighter off and on then rolled over on her stomach and grabbed her phone. She was bored crapless so she dialed Tessa to see if she wanted to do something. Her message came on stating, “You know what to do.” then beeped. Heather just hung not leaving a message. Ten minutes later she called back, “Hey, what are you doing?” Tessa replied, “Nothing and I don't feel so good so I gotta go.” This time it was Tessa who hung up before Heather could say anything. Heather stared at her phone and said to herself, “How freaking rude. Damn bitch.” Tessa looked at Kalista, grinned and said, “That felt pretty good being the first to hang up without waiting for a response.” Both girls laughed then continued flipping through their magazines.
