~Hiding~

~Thirteen~

Jay was already up, as he had Jury Service, which he wasn't very fond of, so it was Erin taking Alicia to school.

As Erin got back into her truck, after dropping Alicia at school, she had a stabbing pain in her right side.

Erin massaged her right side, and pushed the on button, and drove back to the district.

After 15 Minutes. Erin walked slowly into the bullpen, looking pale as a sheet.

Adam noticed, and called Erin out on it.

"Darlin! You okay? You look pale..." Adam called out.

Erin looked at Adam, and nodded.

"Yeah. I'm good!" Erin lied.

Adam took the lie, but knew that Erin was sick.

After a moment. Alicia ran up the stairs.

"MAMA!" Alicia babbled.

Erin looked at Alicia, and was wondering why she wasn't at school.

"Alicia? What happened? Why aren't you at school?" Erin asked.

Kim walked upstairs, and explained.

"Burst pipe. Everyone got sent home..." Kim explained.

Erin nodded, and kissed Alicia's head.

"Alright. Go in the breakroom, babes." Erin smiled.

Alicia nodded, and toddled her way in the breakroom.

"Erin? You okay? You look even paler..." Kim commented.

Erin was getting fed up of everyone asking questions.

"I'm fine! You don't have to keep as-." Erin stopped.

Erin tried getting up, but collapsed to the floor.

"Shit!" Kim cursed.

Antonio rushed over, and crouched down.

"Erin? You okay?" Antonio asked.

Erin mumbled, and groaned.

"Let's get her to Med!" Hank instructed.

Antonio brought Erin into his arms, and walked downstairs.

"I'll call Jay!" Kim suggested.

The unit all walked downstairs, and Antonio drove to Med.

Erin was soon in her hospital room, and turns out she had appendicitis.

"Where's my girlfriend?" Jay alerted the unit.

The unit all looked at Jay, and were shocked at how Jay referred Erin to "Girlfriend."

"Erin's in recovery, she had acute appendicitis, collapsed in the bullpen." Kim explained.

Jay nodded, and took his tie, and blazer off.

"Looking snazzy..." Adam smirked.

Jay smirked, and walked towards Erin's room.

After a few minutes. Jay walked into the room.

Erin was asleep, and she had a pale complexion.

"Oh. Baby..." Jay whispered.

Erin opened her eyes, and smiled tiredly.

"What are you doing here? I thought you had Jury Service?" Erin croaked out.

Jay smiled, and kissed Erin's head.

"I've already done it, babe..." Jay replied.

Erin nodded, and closed her eyes.

"I'm right here. Erin..." Jay soothed.

Jay got into bed with Erin, and fell asleep.
