Lucy's POV:
As Seamus, Neville and Vanessa wanted, Dean and I have continued our study sessi- ons, with me tutoring in Transfiguration.
"Thank you so much!" Neville is over the moon after my first tutoring session. "I know Professor McGonnagall is a great teacher, but now I finally understand some of this stuff!"
"Minnie's an awesome professor, but she's kind of impatient when it comes to Neville lately," Dean adds in a low voice.
Well, does this sound familliar. Didn't she underestimate Peter Pettigrew as well?
I love Minnie so much, but Neville tries so hard, it's just unfair that he's being treated like this! Hasn't she learned anything from the past?
"Maybe I can talk to her for you Nev," I suggest. "She quite likes me, and she knows where my skills are. If I tell her I'm tutoring you, maybe she'll lay off you a little."
"That would be awesome! Thanks Lucy!"
"I think he's officially in love with you!" Vanessa laughs as soon as Neville is gone. "He's practically flying!"
"Don't be ridiculous, he's happy."
"Well, now you see it was a good idea of me, then?"
"You mean the tutoring you forced me into?" I snort. We leave the library and go back to the Common Room, with Dean close behind us. "Sure, it feels good to help Neville like that. I've seen him work and honestly, if Harry worked like Nev did, he'd be tying with Hermione in almost all classes!"
"Have you found anything on Peter Pettigr- ew yet?" Vanessa asks me out of nowhere. I've been doing research on Peter Pettigrew ever since the start of Christmas break.
"Well, he's from a pureblood family and I found their family tree. It's extremely old. He was an only child and I found some pictures, but I have a feeling I'll have better luck with Remus."
"When are you gonna ask him?"
That's the whole thing. I don't want to bother him with that. He's already lost enough as it is. He doesn't need to be remin- ded of that any more than he already is while being here. Plus, if I talk to him, I'd have to tell him how I knew. As much as he loves mischief, with Sirius Black out there, he probably wouldn't appreciate the trip to Hogsmeade."
"First tonight, then I'll see about that." I will never really be prepaired for the full moons. There is no getting used to feeling your skin tier apart and witnessing yourself turn into a ravaging monster.
"It sucks that we can't do anything to help you, at all," Vanessa stares off into the distance, where the crowd going to the Gryffindor Tower is.
"I know, but it's OK, I have Remus at least. I can't imagine what it was like for him when he had nobody..."
"You've spent some full moons alone too, right?" Vanessa frowns, confused. "Did he come here each full moon before? To help you?"
"Of course not," I think back to last year's transformations, much lonelier. "Only Poppy helped me last year. But that's differ- ent. She can't stay, she isn't a werewolf..."
When we finally get to the crowd, it's im- mediately obvious something is going on. The crowd of people isn't moving an inch, even the front must already have reached the portrait of the Fat Lady.
"Let's go see," I tell Vanessa as I grab her hand and push through the mass of people. There is definitely a big fuss at the front, because the people are buzzing and whisp- ering.
"Ginny!" At the front, Vanessa poimts us to Ginny and Liliana, who both look scared and perplexed.
"What's going on here?" I ask them, I can already feel the uneasiness dawn on me as well, seeing everyone's faces.
