𝚂𝙾𝙸𝙻𝙼𝙰𝚃𝙴𝚂 ✧ 𝙺𝙸𝙼 𝙼𝙸𝙽𝙹𝙸 𝚇 𝙼!𝙾𝙲

Chapter 1

The distant sounds of chicken's clucking roared the surrounding as the sun's rising up the horizon was making a girl in deep slumber slowly regaining her consciousness. It was until the clucking noises were mixed with the sound of the goat's bleating almost non-stop was what eventually gained the girl her attention.

With her eyes already opened yet still felt heavy, she let out a deep sigh before rising up from her soft mats by the heated floor. As she's stretching the stiffness away from her arms, back and legs away, someone knocked on the door before it swung open.

"You're awake Minji?" A tall male, had half his torso into her room through the door as the girl named Minji just gave him a hum with a nod before she went over and got her warm padded coat before the two walked away from her room. "I'm collecting hays and the watermelons needs to be harvested this morning so can I ask you to tend the animals at the barn?" The man said to her as they're making their way to the kitchen.

"Sure, are you going alone?" Minji asked as she's tying her hair up into a ponytail just as they arrived in the kitchen where their mother was by the table, making up batches of kimchi. "Morning mom~" The woman gave her mother a quick hug from behind as she got herself a cup. "No I'm not going alone today. There's a couple of boys from the neighbourhood who will join us later as well..." He answered his sister's question

"Us? So you're going with dad, Mingyu oppa?" Minji made herself a cup of hot coffee as her brother, Mingyu, gave his sister a nod as Minji gave him a nod back. "I'll take care of the animals, no biggie~"

"Are they any replies from the companies you're applying for?" Her brother asked and she let out a sight before shaking her head. "As of now, none." Minji replied rather disappointed based on her tone. "...I mean I've applied to companies that's based of what I studied back in college which is a challenge itself to be honest."

"I'm sure the years you spent in college will bear its fruits sooner or later. Have faith Minji." The way her brother always there to give her support was the reason Minji's not complaining too much and living her life at the moment with trying to help her family with the farm after spending the last couple of years away from her hometown.

As Mingyu already on his way out, Minji then, already had her padded jacket covering her top, getting rubber boots covering her feet before she made her way to the back of her house where the farm was. As she got there, she was greeted with a fleet of her family's goats, bleating their hearts out by the wooden fence. "In a minute~" Minji walked past them as she made her way to the warehouse and later came back, pushing a wheelbarrow filled with hays and grasses.

After successfully feeding them, Minji continued with the rest of the farm animals and took her almost an hour to finally finished everything. Now she's taking a break at the front veranda of her house, inhaling the countryside breeze before the sound of motorcycle engine revving closer to her hearing. She looked over to her side to see the usual postman in the area.

"Miss Kim Minji?" The postman asked as she stopped by the front yard. "Yes, that's me." Minji then went over to the mailman before he handed her a letter wrapped in an envelope before excusing herself. As the motorcycle drove away, Minji quickly opened up the seemingly 'official' letter and her eyes were reading its content before she let out a scream of joy. 

I hope you all don't mind that the first four chapters of this story would be a short and sort of like a way for us to understand and getting ourselves into the story if that make sense.
