"Wooo someone's got a new shoulder bag it seems~" The first thing that Minji noticed when she walked into their office was Yongjae and Hanni but specifically Hanni's new Gucci shoulder bag, placed safely at the side of Hanni's desk which was bought for her by none other than the guy's sitting next to her, who's trying to keep a straight face while looking down at the papers on his table. "...Was it your birthday recently Hanni? Or did you buy it yourself perhaps?" She asked as she sat down while Hanni shook her head with a light hum.
"No? Then... Oh wait- if it's not your birthday... someone gifted this to you then? Or am I still in the wrong?" And the sheepish smile on Pham Hanni's face confirmed Minji's speculation. "I see... Wow Miss Pham~ Was this the same person that you mentioned and went to the café with before?" Minji's whisper was rather curious and Hanni couldn't help but chuckling silently while she didn't even deny it. "Yes it is indeed the same person. It's just a gift from him."
"A gift hmm? Wow, a Gucci bag for just a 'gift'... Well he's really into you if that's the case. Don't tell me that you two aren't official yet because..." Minji was impressed by how far a person would do to express their love. "I know..." Hanni's tone was as cheerful as the smile on her face. "... and you don't have to worry, me and him are already dating when he bought me the bag anyways." And Minji was surprised to know that Hanni's actually secretly dating someone.
"Look at you Hanni Pham~ You sure you don't want to tell me who you're dating now Pham Hanni~" Minji's tone was soft, more like a playful, jokingly plea while Hanni firmly shook her head with a hum. "I would like to Minji but for now I'm sorry but I can't. He is not ready and I will respect his decision. But you don't have to worry Minji..." She looked over at Minji next to her. "...I am happier than ever now."
"Well, no one's going to be mad that you're happier than ever let alone doesn't even want you to be happy. Congrats Miss Pham. I hope everything's going to turn out great and well between you two because I always believe that whoever's going to date you is a lucky man." Minji's tone was genuine and Yongjae who heard her faintly couldn't help but secretly let out a soft smile while's he's facing away from the two ladies.
As Minji's preparing her stuffs by her desk, she couldn't get someone out of her mind ever since she woke up this morning. That someone was none other than her boyfriend, Jeongin who was on his way out of the country right now because of a business trip. But the fact that Jeongin's her boyfriend out of the company while being her boss in the company, Minji couldn't even send him off by the airport.
But Jeongin's been comforting her about it when she spent her whole day with him yesterday by his apartment, telling her that he will call her whenever he'll be back in his room and that gave something for Minji to look forward to. And Jeongin also took his time and gave her a video call earlier this morning as promised, while Minji's preparing for work.
Even though it's just a short call, but Minji's more than happy to see his face and hear his voice knowing that she can't be with him for a period of time starting today and she had the chance to say goodbye to him and wished him a safe trip was enough for her to start her day with a positive attitude.
