One month later
It was a rather important day for the company, actually a really special day in fact because after a month since the success of the solar panel project, the company finally took the step and would start using the solar panels as their source of electricity energy.
In relation to that, the whole morning, a whole dozen teams of electricians and technicians had been working at the very top of the company building, placing efficient amount of solar panels that's needed to fully operate the whole tall building.
"Why am I the one feeling nervous right now..." Minji heard Hanni's whisper from her side as the three of them, along with the rest of the staffs in the department were waiting at the open area of the office with the lights and electricity all turned off.
"Let's just hope it'll turn out good..." Minji whispered back as the three was standing by an end corner while the rest of the staffs were piling up in front of them and the rest of the area. "You okay Minji?" Hanni's been noticing the uneasiness movement of her body ever since the lights went off. "I'm actually not really fond of the dark Hanni..."
Hearing that, Hanni quickly had her hand holding onto Minji's hand, fingers intertwined gently and immediately made Minji felt a bit better. "Thanks." She whispered at Hanni who nodded her head at her despite the darkness making them couldn't see their faces rather clearly.
With their hands safely holding each other, Hanni looked over to her other side where Yongjae's standing and something's been bothering her today which was how down and rather tired Yongjae looked at the start of the day when he arrived at the office. She wanted to ask him but seeing him sometimes heaving out light sighs whenever he checked his phone somehow made Hanni scared that she'd be making things worse than it already was for him so she remained quiet, unwantedly so.
A couple months had passed since the first day they met one another and the three were already closed at this point in time. But more so could be said about Hanni and Yongjae. The two's been spending time together so frequently that even during their off days sometimes they met up by the café to hang out. Yongjae's life was getting better with Hanni in it now, even though as a friend still, in his eyes and maybe more in Hanni's hopeful heart.
But it's just that, even after about a month of them being friends and being closed, Hanni still couldn't get him to tell her about his life, about his problems that she knew he's been having and there's not much for Hanni to do other than to just wait for him to eventually open up to her sooner or later. Hopefully...
"Alright everyone, attention please~" Minji then heard a rather familiar voice, coming from the middle of the floor apparently. "...today, will be a historic day for the company in general and for us in particular..." And that voice belonged to none other than Hwang Jeongin himself.
Minji's still standing on her spot whilst inside her heart, she felt relief to hear his voice after such a long time and their last conversation was basically when Minji texted him to congratulate them about the success of the company's project which was over three or four weeks ago. She kept it in herself, but she couldn't help but wanting to see Jeongin again, she wanted to have another chat with him like back in the café.
