“Mom!? Dad!?” The moment his eyes landed on his parent’s figures getting out of the back seats of the car, Jeongin was left in surprise because he didn’t even tell anyone in his family about him staying in Minji’s village and it’s too far to be considered a mere coincidence. So Jeongin went through the crowd of villagers, trying not to barge onto them until he made his way to the front, where his parents were and Minji followed him behind.

“Oh, there he is. I thought you’ll be by Minji’s house at this time…” Jeongin reunited with his parents as her mother immediately gave him a hug. “Mother… Father… how did you know that I am here?” Still needed answers, he gave both his parents a hug nonetheless. “I did.” Minji answered rather cheerfully as he looked over to his girl who’s giving his mother a hug after him. “...I thought that I need to let mother and father knows about you staying here as soon as possible so that they won’t be worrying too much.”

“Oh I see…” Nevertheless Jeongin was secretly relieved that his parents were here. “Since it’s Sunday anyway so we have the time to come here and just enjoy the countryside for once in a while. You young people tends to call it a healing trip or whatever it is. Your mother wanted to do it anyway so I’m just tagging along…” and he’s all smile despite his father saying that because deep down Jeongin knew his father’s about as excited as his wife.

“And we’re here because your father wanted to help you with something…” Jeongin then looked over at his old man who nodded his head before looking back at his mother. “...we’ve brought over doctors and nurses from the hospital we always go to and they’ll be tending to the people who needed any sort of medical attention here. It’s part of your wish right? Minji told us before.” Jeongin was surprised yet smile formed on his face. “Really? T-that’s great! We should let the head villager know about this first, he’s inside the hall right now…”

In the midst of their conversation, Minji’s father and brother finally got over to them, though still feeling awkward. “Hello there Sir, Madam…” Knowing that Jeongin’s a wealthy man and his parents should be people of important status, her father addressed them appropriately. “...welcome to our village.” And the father and son gave them a bow respectfully. “This is my father and brother.” Minji got over to her father as she introduced them to Jeongin’s parents and their fathers then exchanged handshakes with Minji’s old man kept on bowing down.

“Thank you for taking care of our son while he’s here. And it’s nice to finally meet you Mr. Kim.” And the fact that Jeongin’s father didn’t even say those words in a rather proud or like wanting them to know that he’s a powerful and a influential man but his father spoke with a calm yet respectful tone, not even a sign of trying to implying the significance amount of difference in terms of their statuses. “...we hope that our boy didn’t cause too much trouble during the few days that he’s been here.”

“Oh no, no, no sir, Jeongin here did the complete opposite and he provided so much help for us farmers here and we’re all gathered here today is because of him…” Minji was nodding her head to every word her father replied back. “We can continue our chat later on because right now we have to see the head villager right? Let’s hope that he’s still inside the hall.” Minji brought up the main plan at that moment. “Alright people, please make way for our guests~” Mingyu then got over to the crowd, asking them to provide a way for Jeongin’s parents and them to get to the hall and they did without any complaints.
