Three months later
Back in the city of Seoul, back in their apartment, Jeongin’s standing by the curtains, looking over at the view of the city at the other side of the window. Having zero worries for today, the company’s phone was off and dressed himself in comfortable clothes, only a matter of time before their well earned break will be starting.
“Baby~” Minji’s voice echoed from their bedroom and Jeongin came to her calling. “You already finished packing?” Jeongin sat down at the edge of the bed while Minji was pushing her luggage to the side as she nodded with a hum. “Mother and father will be waiting at the usual restaurant later before our flight. Yeji unnie said that hopefully she can get there in time because right now she’s on the flight back here.”
“Ready?” Minji then went over and stood in front of Jeongin but his sheepish smile was there as she looked up at her. “Even though I love that smile of yours but what are you up to hmm~” She gave his cheek a pinch. “We have a lot of time, let’s lay down first.” Minji let out a light squeal as she was pulled down and the two now laying on their sides next to each other. “We have about four hours before our flight and we have to be at the restaurant two hours earlier remember?”
Nonetheless, seeing that there’s still that look of worries hidden behind that soft smile of his, Minji caressed the side of his face gently, mirroring the subtle smile on his face. “You’re worried about the company still hmm?” Hearing her, the smile on his face slowly faded away before a soft sigh and a nod came from Jeongin. “Maybe I am, yeah… This is something rather unusual for me Minji. Taking a long, long break away from work and everything related to the company.”
“Hey…” She whispered as her eyes won’t leave his. “...it’s okay. You don’t have to feel guilty about anything. You’ve done more than enough for the company, let alone for my sake as well. You earned this break okay?” The warmth of her palm was so calming that Jeongin gently pressed his cheek against the palm of her hand with his eyes closed. “I know…” Then Jeongin held onto her hand that’s on his cheek before his eyes gazed over at the cobalt blue diamond ring that’s on her ring finger and it brought a soft smile on his face every time.
“Shall we go now my fiancee?” He whispered but only got a light smirk from the woman laying down next to him. “I thought you said that we have a lot of time to spare hmm~” Her voice was teasing, taking away the light burdens off his shoulder as he let out a soft snicker before Jeongin had his palm onto the back of her head, pulling her closer and his lips casually crashed softly onto hers while Minji had her palm at the back of his neck and pulling him even closer, deepening their kiss slowly, filled with the great amount of love they possessed for each other that never wavers since day one.
Realizing that they really were having not much time, their sweet moment had to be cut short even though Minji seemingly wanted to enjoy their moment more but in the end, the got their luggage and bags for their Europe vacation tour, brought them down to the front entrance where Jeongin’s family personal chauffeur were already waiting for them. Got their belongings loaded in the vehicle, the recently engaged couple made their way to the restaurant where they’ll spend lunch with Jeongin's parents and his sister.
