— Kiss Me
LOVE WAS IN the air. Well, for the most part. It felt like it was in the air. It felt like it was everywhere for Natalia Bexley who wholeheartedly believed Clay Jensen was her soulmate. The pair had grown closer than ever, yet they still spoke of one another as friends. When speaking, however, this lie was detected by everyone but themselves. They oftentimes were found sleeping in the same bed by Clay's mom, or making out on Clay's bed by Justin. They did almost everything a couple entailed. Even after all of their close encounter, Clay Jensen was definitely still a virgin.
Walking into Clay's shared room, Natalia was shocked by the mess that accumulated on his side of the room. She furrowed her eyebrows. This wasn't something Clay usually did.
The door opened and closed, so Natalia turned around to find Clay stunned by her presence.
"Hey," Natalia greeted, her tone still bubbly. She ignored her confusion because everyone had their bad mornings. Even Clay Jensen.
"Nat, hey," He said before reeling her into a stiff hug which she gladly accepted despite the awkwardness of it all. "You're early."
Natalia pulled away, still reeled in by her hips. She parted her lips in offense as he held her.
"I missed you too," Natalia replied to the imaginary Clay in her head. She stood on her toes and placed a deep kiss on Clay's lips. He returned it for a minute, then stopped. "You don't want to kiss me?"
"I'm sorry, Nat, I didn't sleep good last night and—"
Natalie wrapped her arms around his neck and stared at him intently which seemingly caused him to lose all mental capacity for words.
"Uh, I gotta go," He stumbled out causing Natalia to nod. She felt an arctic breeze roll over her from Clay's cold shoulder. "You should help Ani and Jess set up for that party."
"Sure, okay. Is everything going well? Because you're acting—" Natalia began only to be interrupted by a small sigh from Clay. She held him close and waited for his response.
"I'm good, Nat. Better when you're here, but I have to go, okay?" Clay halfheartedly tried to persuade her. He could tell by her nod, she wasn't believing it, but she sensed the urgency in his voice.
"Fine. Just text me, I'll just wait for Jess and Ani."

NATALIA WASHED DISHES while Jessica cleaned up the room. Clay had suddenly turned into a slob. She didn't know what was going on, but she was worried he was going through a depression, similar to what she went through not that long ago.
"It smells like an ass wore shoes in here," Jessica commented making Natalia sigh when she sat more dishes beside the sink. "Like ass shoes on a dead animal. Is Clay alright?"
